National Threat Assessments:
Although the National Threat
Assessment has changed has changed for some cities or areas of the
country, the assessment for our area has remained unchanged since
1-9-2004.
On January 9,
2004, the Homeland Security threat condition was lowered from orange
(“high”) to yellow
(“elevated”). Threat Conditions indicate the degree of
risk of a terrorist act -- with risk denoting both probability and
gravity.
