Crime Stoppers Open Cases
for Week of January 13-19, 2003
Waite Park Police:
The Waite Park Police Department is investigating a possible "quick
change" scam artists. Three males entered a local fast food business and
ordered a couple of items. They then asked the cashier to exchange money
for different amounts of change. They are believed to have gotten away
with $100. The suspects are described below
1. black male, 6' 2", slender build, wearing a black coat
2. black male, 5' 8", short, early 30s, wearing a Fidora hat
3. black male, tall, early 30s, no teeth, light complexion, light colored
hair
Loss is listed at: $100.00
The Waite Park Police Department is also investigating a burglary at local
business. In the evening hours of January 12th, an unknown suspect(s)
forced entry into the back door of Taco Villa, located on Division Street.
Nothing is reported missing at this time.
The also had burglaries within the last two weeks at PIK Fabrications, two
burglaries on two separate occasions and Car X. All three of these
burglaries also reported nothing missing
