for Week of January 6-12, 2003
Cold Spring Police:
On 1-5-2003 police were dispatched to a burglary at Lori's bridal and
formal wear. Upon arrival, the owner and an employee advised the officers
that when they arrived for work at 10:30 AM, they noticed that the
building had been entered. As the owner looked through the business she
noticed it had been burglarized.
It appeared that the suspect had broken out the West window opened it and
crawled through. Most of the store had been gone through and a safe was
broken open. The suspects also went through the lockers in the locker
room. The owner then noticed that several wedding dresses and other
dresses were missing. Every room in the business had been ransacked with
every cabinet and drawer left open. A new Dell computer was also missing.
It is a Dell Dimension, serial number H63LL11 and the monitor is a Mag
Innovision serial number, FEIZ261026490.
Total value of lost items is approximately $20,000 in cash and dresses.
