Crime Stoppers Open Cases
for Week of May 26, 2003

St. Cloud Police:

On 5-27-03 at 1143 PM, officers responded to 10 8th Ave. SE, In reference to a robbery in progress. The investigation revealed that an unknown male armed with an unknown type of gun, attempted to Rob the Taco Bell store at 10 8th Avenue SE through the drive-through window. The suspect was described as about 5' 10" to 6' 1" tall, wearing a plaid hooded shirt and a mask. The suspect was not located. No one was injured in the incident. The suspect did not get any money during the crime. The incident is still under investigation.
 

St. Cloud Police:

On 5-27-03 at approximately 4:31 AM officers were dispatched to Walgreen's on 25th Ave. Division to investigate a Robbery. Officers were told the robbery took place 10 minutes prior to the call. Officers were then taken to the location of the robbery, 1700 Block of 3rd Street North. The victim said 2 unknown white males in their early 20s punched him in the face, held him down on the ground and took money from his pocket. The victim had no visible injuries and did not want any medical attention. The suspects left east bound on foot, the victim then ran to Walgreen's to make the report. A neighbor that was awake at the time the robbery took place did not hear anything.


On 5-26-03 at approximately 11:06 PM an officer from the St. Cloud Police Department was dispatched to the SuperAmerica station at 600 Hwy. 10 South to investigate a fire. Upon arrival the fire had been put out, the fire was confined to the women's restroom. Evidence was collected at the scene. The clerk reported seeing a white female, 19-22 years of age, 5’5” tall, weighing approximately 160-170 pounds, with dark hair. She was wearing a grey sweatshirt and a white T-shirt.


Waite Park Police:

The Waite Park Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on the 10 block of 11th Avenue S. The burglary occurred on May 24th, between the hours of 10:15 pm and 6:45 am. Removed from the residence were two speakers and a stereo.

The Waite Park Police Department is investigating an attempted burglary that occurred on the 200 block of 10th, Avenue N. The attempted burglary occurred on May 26th in the night time hours. Entry into the residence was not gained. A screen door and a storm door were damaged in the attempt.
