Crime Stoppers Open Cases
for Week of July 7, 2003
St. Cloud Police, Coborn’s Stores and Granite Bowl:
There have been a number of thefts in places of business in the Saint
Cloud area, and the individuals pictured are suspects. Generally one or
both of the individuals pictured in photos 2 and 3 will divert staff,
while the individual in photo 1 removes any funds that he can find in the
employee areas of the store.
They
are suspected in a theft at Coborn’s Liquor in Clearwater on 06/28/03,
Granite Bowl in Saint Cloud on 06/30/03, and Coborn’s Liquor 5th
Avenue in Saint Cloud on 07/07/03. There involvement in other thefts in
the area is also being investigated.

information regarding the identities of any of these individuals or

REWARD ANNOUNCEMENT
Tri-County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is pleased to announce that rewards have
been authorized in two cases. Other open cases can be seen at
www.tricountycrimestoppers.org .
These rewards were for information, which resulted in solving several
Central Minnesota crimes.
With these payments, our total for rewards paid will be $ 27,600.00.
Callers to Crime Stoppers remain anonymous and can become eligible for a
reward of up to $1,000. In some selected cases, the reward can be up to $
5,000. The phone line does not have Caller ID or any type of recording
device. Our toll free number is 1-800-255-1301. For the St. Cloud dialing
area and Cellular 2000 customers, they should call 255-1301.
Stearns County Sheriff:
On 6/3/03 at approximately 12:17 PM,
Deputies were dispatched to a burglary at 3434 210th Street in St.
Augusta. Upon returning home, the residents saw that the back garage door
and the entrance door into the residence had been broken into. Upon
arrival the officers did observe the garage door to be open and a back
door which appeared to have been kicked in.
The residents were able to compile a list of missing items.
* A gray safe with a small shelf in the upper left hand corner. The
damaged safe was later found by the Minneapolis Police, with some family
papers and contents still inside.
o Life insurance policies.
o Vehicle titles.
o Marriage certificates.
o Three Operation ID Fingerprint cards.
o Social Security card.
* Credit card numbers, which were written down on either their bills from
their credit card companies or hand written on pieces of paper.
* A light brown wallet containing $800 in cash with various denominations.
* Wedding picture proofs.
* Baby pictures.
* A box of blank checks beginning at check #3131 and up to an unknown
number.
* An unknown number of bonds, one being $100, the rest are all $50 and
less.
* A CD from the Plaza Park Bank for $2000.
* A CD from Great River Bank for $500.
* Two $1000 bonds from Great River Bank.
* One $500 CD from Great River Bank.
* A white jewelry box, approximate size 12"X8".
* A silver certificate one dollar bill.
* A wedding ring, valued at approximately $400 - $600.
* Assorted jewelry, which was located in the jewelry box, with
approximately value of $200 - $300.
* A mug of pennies, containing approximately $5 in cash.
* A glass containing approximately $10 in dimes.
* A glass containing approximately $30 - $40 in quarters.
* A glass containing paper bills, approximately $45.
