On July 31, 2003, the SCSO received a damage
to property/shots fired call on 163rd St in Maine Prairie township, near
Carnelian Lake. Deputies found that two motor vehicles which were parked
in a driveway at a private residence had been damaged. One was a 2002
Chevy Malibu and the other a 1993 Dodge Caravan. A spent shotgun shell
casing was found near the scene.
