Crime Stoppers Open Cases
for Week of January 24, 2005

REWARD ANNOUNCEMENT

Tri-County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is pleased to announce that a reward has been paid in a case that was featured early in 2004 on this radio program and our new web site. With this payment, our total for rewards paid is $ 30,820.00.


Other open cases can be seen at www.tricountycrimestoppers.org . Callers to Crime Stoppers remain anonymous and can become eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary

On 01/26/05 at approximately 0203 hours officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of 13th Avenue South, for a burglary complaint. Upon arrival investigation revealed that sometime between 2340 hours on 01/25/05 and 0130 hours on 01/26/05 unknown suspect(s) smashed out the window of the door and gained entrance through the locked door.

The unknown suspect(s) stole approximately $1,115 in electronic devices, games, movies, and approximately $140 in cash. The unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry by open a screen and attempting to go through a screen door on the deck but was unable to do so.


St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary

On 01/26/05 at approximately 0405 hours officers with the St. Cloud Police Department responded to a reported burglary at in the 800 block of 5th Street South.

Investigation revealed that the home was burglarized between 2200 hours on 01/25/05 and 0300 hours on 01/26/05. None of the residents were home at the time of the burglary. It is believed unknown persons entered through a window and exited through the front door.

Taken during the burglary was approximately $5,000.00 in cash which consisted of large amounts of coins and $1.00 bills. There was some evidence collected at the scene.

Benton County Sheriff: STS Fugitive (From Week of 7-5-2004) (Captured)

On 07-01-04 Antonio Maurice Delk, DOB 05-26-81, was working on the Benton County Sentence to Service crew at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Sauk Rapids, MN. At about 2:00 p.m. Delk walked away from the rest of the crew failed to return to the worksite or the jail. An arrest warrant has been issued for Delk for Escape from Custody.

Delk is described as a black male, 6' 2" tall, weighing 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Delk has a tatoo on the right side of his neck. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and red and white shoes. Delk has used the following aliases: Dunnel Dixon and Maurice Dixon. Anyone with information concerning Delk's whereabouts is asked to contact the Benton County Sheriff's Office at 320-968-7201 or their local law enforcement agency.

Stearns County Sheriff: Six Business Burglaries

The Stearns County Sheriff is investigating a series of six business burglaries that occurred of the time periods of January 17-18 and January 20-21.

On Monday night, January 17-18, burglaries occurred at the New Munich Feed Mill and the New Munich Hofbrau.  Entry was gained and numerous items were taken (mostly cash). 

On Thursday night, January 20-21, entry was made to four businesses in the west end of the county. Items were taken from Swany Roller Mills in Freeport, the Elrosa Feed and Grain, and the Greenwald Elevator and Grain, and the Meire Grove Co-op Store. 

All of these burglaries are believed to be related.
