St. Cloud Police: Criminal Sexual Assault

On 10/16/05 at 1302 an officer was sent to St. Cloud Hospital to investigate a sexual assault complaint that had occurred in the 200 block of 6th Avenue South.

Victim was a 22-year-old St. Cloud female who stated she was sexually assaulted while she was asleep between 0100 hours and 0745 hours.

Only suspect description is possibly an Asian male, 21 to 25 years of age. Victim sustained minor bruising in the vaginal area.

Waite Park Police: Business Burglary

On 10/14/05, DJV Enterprises, 520 Sundial Drive, reported a burglary that occurred over night. Entry was gained through a window. Reported missing are computers and equipment.

Waite Park Police: Business Burglary

On 10/14/05, Ocean Breeze Tanning, 240 2nd Avenue South, reported a burglary that occurred over night. Entry gained by forcing an entry door.

Waite Park Police: Business Burglary

On 10/14/05, Greeting Cards Plus, 246 2nd Avenue South, reported a burglary. Entry was gained by forcing a rear entry door.

Waite Park Police: Robbery/Assault

A resident of an apartment complex on St. Andrews Drive reported a robbery. The incident was reported on 10/16/05 and involved a suspect confronting the tenant inside his apartment at gunpoint. The tenant
engaged in a struggle with the suspect who left the residence and fled in a vehicle. A possible vehicle description is a white in color, boxy styled vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6'0" to 6'2" inches in height, 240-250 pounds. The suspect may have sustained a head injury during the struggle.

Stearns County is looking for Cory John Schlling who has several arrest warrants from Stearns, Mille Lacs and Aitkin counties. Two are felony level warrants.

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary

On 10/16/05 at 0327 hours, officers responded to the 800 block of 8th Street South reference a burglary.

The female resident returned home at approximately 0300 hours and found an unknown male in her living room. She confronted the suspect and he ran out of the house. The front door was damaged, appearing to have been kicked in. Nothing was reported missing at this time.

St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Robbery

The aggravated robbery occurred on 10/12/05 at 0300 hours. An 18-year-old male from Forest Lake was jumped from behind, held at knife point, and had several items stolen from him including a phone and cash.

The only description of suspects is two black males, 18 to 20 years of age, wearing dark clothing.

The robbery occurred at 7th Avenue South and 5th Street South.

St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary

On 10/16/05 at approximately 0126 hours officers responded to an alarm at the Stop N Go at 2715 Clearwater Road.

Upon arrival officers discovered a smashed front door. The rest of the building was secured. The key holder arrived on scene. Entry was not gained into the building. It appears the suspect/suspects tried to smash the window out with an object similar to a baseball bat.

Earlier in the evening another gas station was broken into and cigarettes were taken.

The owner estimated the damage to the door window at approximately $600.00.
