Benton County Sheriff: School Burglary

The Benton County Sheriff received a report of a Burglary committed on 11/14/05 at the Rice Elementary School. A janitor while making evening rounds noticed a male approx 40 years old, large frame with brown hair, tan pants and tan shirt, with facial hair standing in the main office in the elementary school. When confronted the male asked to use the phone. Other people were inside the school for a dance class.

At this time nothing appeared missing. He later discovered the lock on the main door had been pried open and the door was damaged. Missing from the school is $324 in checks and $502 cash. taken from the media center.

Benton County Sheriff: Equipment Theft

The Benton County Sheriff is investigating a Theft committed 11/11-11/13/05 at Rockwood estates trailer park in Watab township. The manager reported that an auger from a Bobcat was missing. The auger is
black and gray and is a 12 inch auger attached to the motor. Loss here is listed at $2,300.

Sherburne County Sheriff: Multiple Case Summaries (8)

November 1st, a resident of Garden Grove Rd. in Becker Township reported his inflatable scarecrow Halloween decoration on his property had been slashed; value is $25.

November 2nd, a resident of Becker reported her car had been egged while traveling on co rd 23 in Santiago Township; damage is estimated at $601.

November 11th, a resident of 42nd St. Se in Palmer Township reported the theft of a 1985 15 hp Johnson outboard motor valued at $800.

November 11th, a Big Lake business reported the theft of $10,000 worth of tools from a trailer located on 110th St. in Livonia Township.

November 8th, a business located on 184th St. in Orrock Township reported an individual leaving without paying for $26.46 of gasoline.

November 8th, unknown suspect(s) broke into a business located on 4th St. w in Orrock Township. $30 was taken.

November 7th, a resident of co rd 14 in Big Lake Township reported the theft of a 170 gallon fuel tank valued at $450 and a fuel pump valued at $450.

November 3rd, a resident of 104th St. in Baldwin Township reported the theft of building materials valued at $2,275.

St. Cloud Police: Arson

On 11/12/0"' at 0309 hours officers of the St. Cloud Police Department responded to 800 block of 5th Avenue South for a couch fire.

Investigation revealed that the tenants had two couches around a fire ring in the front yard. The tenants had extinguished the open flames and went inside their house. A group of unidentified college white males tipped one of the couches onto the fire ring. Both couches were then set on fire.

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary

On 11/12/05 at 2143 hours officers responded to 200 block of 8th Avenue South for a burglary complaint. Suspects entered the residence through a front window. Cash and personal property was stolen. The residence was unoccupied during the burglary.

Some time during the night of 11/10/05 unknown person(s) forced entry to an unoccupied residence in the 100 block of Riverside Drive SE.

St. Cloud Police: Theft of Construction Equipment

Sometime between 1700 hours on 11/7/05 and 0730 hours on 11/11/05, someone stole a bobcat skid loader from the construction site at Water's Edge at Donovan Lake.

The complainant reports that there have been other thefts and vandalisms at Water's Edge over the past couple of weeks.

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary

On 11/10/05 at 1918 hours officers were dispatched to burglary complaint in the 700 block of Kilian Boulevard, Officers arrived and found that a window in the back door was broken out allowing access into the residence.

Several items including cash, electronics, and jewelry were taken from the residence.
