Benton County Sheriff: Theft
from Business (2 cases)
The Benton County Sheriff is investigating the theft of four tractor tires
from Arnold's Equipment in Minden Township.
The theft occurred between 9/22/05 and 10/20/05. The tires valued at $1200
were White wheels and would fit a New Holland tractor TC33.
The second incident involved the theft of a tractor between 11/16/05 and
11/18/05. This was taken from the north edge of property near the fence.
Missing: New Holland Tractor TC40D Blue in color has an attached New
Holland loader model 17LA with a 6 foot bucket. Total Value of $23,500.

Sheriff: Multiple Case Summaries (17)
November 27th, a business located on County Road 50 in Big Lake Township
reported the theft of 4 tires and rims and a windshield damaged. Loss is
valued at $600.
November 27th, a resident of 245th Ave. in Livonia Township reported the
theft of a 1995 Pontiac grand prix valued at $2,000.
November 26th, a resident of 301st Ave. in Baldwin Township reported the
theft of $370.
November 25th, a resident of 101st St. in Baldwin Township reported the
theft of 4 rolls of aluminum trim coil valued at $250.
November 25th, a business located on Main Ave. in Clear Lake Township
reported two Pepsi pop machines broken into. Value of loss is $25.
November 22nd, a resident of Peggy place in Becker Township reported the
theft of two Remington shotguns and a scope from his vehicle; loss is
$600.
November 20th, a resident of 10th St. west in Zimmerman reported the theft
of jewelry and a handgun with holster from her residence. Value of the
stolen items is not known at this time.
November 20th, a resident of 62nd St. in Santiago Township reported his
mailbox stolen.
November 19th, a resident of 127th St. in Clear Lake Township reported the
theft of a 1983 Honda ATV 200x three wheeler valued at $600.
November 18th, a business located on Hwy 169 in Zimmerman reported a
vehicle leaving without paying for $10.00 worth of gasoline.
November 17th, an Elk River business reported the theft of a compacter
valued at $1,369.
November 17th, a business in Harris reported the theft of four wheels off
a jeep parked at 253rd Ave. NW in Livonia Township. Loss is estimated at
$2,000.
November 15th, a resident of 94th St. se in Becker Township reported the
theft of blank checks from her vehicle.
November 15th, a resident of 227th Ave. in Clear Lake Township reported
the theft of a small TV and a 1995 Chevy Lumina van. Value of loss is not
known at this time.
November 14th, a resident of Elk Lake Road east in Baldwin Township
reported his residence broken into. Items stolen include a TV, DVD player,
VCR and Xbox; loss is estimated at $1,375.
November 17th, a resident of 154th St. in Blue Hill Township reported the
theft of jewelry from her residence.
November 13th, a resident of Big Lake reported the theft of a 1997
Plymouth voyager van valued at $5,000 from a location on County Road 14 in
Big Lake Township.
St. Cloud Police: Residential
Burglary
On 11/27/05 at approximately 1823 hours officers were dispatched to 300
block of 3rd Avenue South for a burglary. Investigation revealed that
forced entry was obtained into the unoccupied dwelling by an unknown
suspect using a pry tool to bust out the rear door's doorknob.
The burglary took place sometime between 11/23/05 at 1530 hours and
11/27/05 at 0800 hours. Approximately $1,600 in a combination of CD's,
DVD's, and video games, as well as, $20 in change and $20 In school
supplies, were stolen.
A back door window was also damaged, along with the rear door doorknob.
St. Cloud Police:
Residential Burglary
On 11/27/05 at approximately 2215 hours officers were dispatched to 500
block of 7th Avenue South for a burglary.
Upon arrival investigation revealed that someone entered an unoccupied
dwelling between the hours of 0800 on 11/24/05 and 2000 hours on 11/26/05.
Unknown suspects entered the residence through possibly an unlocked door
and into an unlocked bedroom.
Stolen from the bedroom was a laptop computer, digital camera, and
approximately $60 in change.
