for Week of February 14, 2005
St. Cloud Police: Criminal Sexual Assault
and Robbery
On 02/13/05 at approximately 0118 hours officers from the St. Cloud Police
Department were dispatched to Beaudreau's Bar located at 414 East St.
Germain St., on a sexual assault that had just occurred.
Investigation revealed that a male bad forced his way into a limousine
where he made the 43 year old female driver drive to a location in Benton
County and sexually assaulted her. The suspect displayed a knife and
threatened to use it on the victim during the course of the sexual
assault. Also taken from the limousine driver was an undetermined amount
of cash proceeds from previous patrons of the using the limousine service.
After being assaulted, the suspect then forced the female to drive him
around and he was ultimately dropped off in the area of 5th Avenue and 3rd
Street Northeast, St, Cloud.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 25-30 years of age, 6-0, heavy
set, wearing gray warm-up suit, and tennis shoes.
The victim was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital where she received
medical attention.
2-17-05 Additional Information: The suspect in this matter was observed to
have a bruise on his forehead that would have been noticeable, especially
on 02/13/2005.
Waite Park Police: Four Business
Burglaries
The Waite Park Police Department is investigating four separate business
burglaries that occurred over the weekend. All four were reported on
2/13/05. The four businesses involved are:
1) Ag Star Financial Services, 806 3rd Street South, Waite Park, MN
2) Klaphake Construction, 427 Sundial Drive, Waite Park, MN
3) B&K Auto Repair, 421 Sundial Drive, Waite Park, MN
4) PIK Fabricating, 415 Sundial Drive, Waite Park, MN
Ag Star reported computer and camera equipment stolen. Klaphake
Construction and B&K Auto Repair, reported computers stolen from their
businesses. PIK Fabricating reported the loss of custom auto parts.
Value: All burglaries combined $60,000.00
Pending Reward
Tri-County Crime Stoppers has approved a reward on a case from early in
2004. The tip, which resulted in this case being solved, was called into
Crime Stoppers in October 2004. The caller was issued a case number. We
are now waiting for that person to call back with their case number and
make arrangements to accept their reward payment.
St. Cloud Police: Missing Person
MISSING
PERSON: WENDY HIEHLE Endangered Missing
Adult.
Born: 01-04-1968; Gender: Female; Height: 5’ 4”; Weight: 185 Lbs; Eyes:
Brown; Hair: Brown; Race: White;
Missing Since June 10, 2004 From Hinckley, MN Circumstances of
disappearance: Unknown.
Wendy was last seen in the vicinity of the 700 block of Lady Luck Dr. in
Hinckley, MN. Her black, two door, 1990 Acura Integra was later located
abandoned near the northbound off ramp joining 1-35 to Minnesota Highway
23 approximately 2 miles south of Hinckley, MN.
Wendy has a medical condition and needs medication.

St. Cloud Police: Residential
Burglary
On 02/02/05 at 2215 hours officers responded to a burglary at 2800 Stearns
Way. It was discovered that between 1720 hours and 2215 hours unknown
suspect(s) entered the unoccupied residence by forcing the rear garage
door open and entering the house through the garage.
A total of over $13,000 in property was taken from inside of the
residence.
St. Cloud Police: Assault
On 02/02/05 at approximately 0630 hours a 5th degree assault occurred in
the parking lot at 1060 7th Street Southeast. An unknown subject
approached the victim, a 22 year old female, and punched her in the face,
upper arm, and forearm. The victim was alone in the parking lot at the
time of the assault. It is unknown what the suspect's intentions were. The
suspect may have been scared away by a noise caused from an unknown person
in an adjacent parking lot.
St. Cloud Police: Attempted
Residential Burglary
On 02/08/05 at 1513 hours officers from this department investigated an
attempted entry at 1315 Northway Circle. The homeowner noticed that five
screens had been cut and that they had tried to kick and pry open the
service door to the garage. No entry was made into the residence and
damage was minimal.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary
On 02/09/05 at 1445 hours officers were dispatched to 2810 Park Drive in
reference to a burglary. The back service door to the garage had been
kicked in. The door between the garage and living area had been forced
open as well. The residents of that address were not home at the time as
they were vacationing in Al1zona. The owner's daughter was notified who in
turn notified the owners.
The western most bedrooms on the main level appeared to be ransacked. At
this time it is unknown what items were taken until the owners return from
Arizona.
