Pending Reward

Tri-County Crime Stoppers has approved a reward on a case from early in 2004. The tip, which resulted in this case being solved, was called into Crime Stoppers in October 2004. The caller was issued a case number. We are now waiting for that person to call back with their case number and make arrangements to accept their reward payment.

St. Cloud Police: 2 Residential Burglaries

On 02-04-05, St Cloud Police responded to two burglaries that had occurred sometime overnight on the north side of the city. Investigation revealed that both burglaries were residential properties that had the front doors kicked in and the homes ransacked.

Taken from both home were misc. sporting and hunting equipment, video and game equipment, and jewelry. One home was located in the 2600 block of Park Drive and the other in the 1900 block of Summit Drive. Both homes are less than a mile from each other and believed to have been hit by the same suspect. Total loss in stolen property and damages from the burglaries is $8,000-10,000.

The same person may have been responsible for the burglary reported the day before on Stearns Way, all within one mile of each other.

Benton County Sheriff: Residential Burglary

On February 1, 2005, a residential burglary was reported at 12040 35th Ave. N.E., Graham Township, Sauk Rapids. The burglary occurred between 10:00 P.M. on January 31, 2005, and 7:00 A.M. on February 1, 2005. Suspect(s) entered the residence through an unlocked door and removed
the following guns:

Ruger 375, Magnum H&H #1, falling block, black in color with a Leupold 3x8 scope.

AR 15 type gun with a pull stock, flat top with a Bushnell scope.
