Crime Stoppers Open Cases
for Week of April 11, 2005

St. Cloud Police: Stolen Vehicle

On 04/11/05 at approximately 2100 hours officers were dispatched to 100 block of Highway 10 North, in reference to a stolen vehicle complaint. The victim reported that between 1900 hours on 04/10/05 to 1300 hours on 04/11/05 unknown suspect(s) had broken into a locked storage shed stole a Honda XR80CC motorcycle.

The motorcycle was inoperable and had to be pushed from the scene. Since the vehicle wasn’t currently license and no license plate number is available. , but could not be tracked in the shed.

St. Cloud Police: Knife Assault with Injury

On 04/11/05 at approximately at 1847 hours officers were dispatched to the St. Cloud Hospital in reference to an assault. There officers met with a Somali male victim who had been seated in a vehicle parked in the parking lot near 405 East St. Germain.

The vehicle was approached by two black males with one of the males opening the closed car door and attempted to stab the victim with a kitchen butcher knife.
The victim was able to avoid injury by kicking at the suspect; however, the victim was eventually cut on the calf of his right leg, which required stitches.

St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Robbery

On 04/10/0'5 officers were dispatched to a robbery complaint at 1536 Northway Drive. It is believed that the suspect in this robbery approached the 54 year old male victim from behind. The suspect placed an object up against the back of the victim and told the victim to give him his ring and watch that he was wearing. The victim complied and was not injured.

The suspect then fled and got into a beige early 90’s model four door sedan, possibly a Toyota. There was rust on the passenger rear quarter panel and rust on the rims.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his mid twenties, approximately 5'9" to 5' 1 0" in height. He is described as having a muscular build, approximately 180 to 190 pounds. He was seen wearing a black bandana, and sunglasses with a black windbreaker and blue jeans. The male also had facial hair described as "scruffy."


St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary

On 04/10/05 at 1701 hours officers dispatched to Auto All Plus, incorporated, at 59 Highway 10 South, to a reported burglary. It is believed between 1600 hours on 04/09/05 and 1630 hours on 04/10/05 unknown suspect(s) had broken a window at the front of the building and made entry by throwing a metal bar through the window.

Once inside several items were stolen, including the cash register and its contents, an electronic engine diagnostic computer, a car stereo, and the business checkbook.

It is believed exit was made through a service door which was unlocked from the inside. Several pieces of the cash register were located near the northeast corner of the building but the register itself was not found.
