Crime Stoppers Open Cases
for Week of April 4, 2005
REWARD ANNOUNCEMENT
Tri-County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is pleased to announce that a reward has
been paid in a case that was featured early in 2004 on the radio programs
and our web site. With this payment, our total for rewards paid-to-date is
$ 32,030.00.
Other open cases can be seen at www.tricountycrimestoppers.org . Callers
to Crime Stoppers remain anonymous and can become eligible for a reward of
up to $1,000. In some selected cases, the reward can be up to $ 5,000. The
phone line does not have Caller ID or any type of recording device. Our
toll free number is 1-800-255-1301. For the St. Cloud dialing area and
Cellular 2000 customers, they should call 255-1301.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary
On 04/03/05 at approximately 1700 hours officers were dispatched to the
1000 block of 11th Avenue South for a burglary. Investigation revealed
that someone entered a detached garage of this residence between 1630
hours on 04/02/05 and 1630 hours on 04/03/05 and stole approximately
$1,800.00 worth of car audio equipment.
The car audio equipment included speakers, amps, car CD players, and a box
for speakers. There was no forced entry observed. There are no suspects at
this time.
St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Assault and Robbery
On 04/02/05 officers of St. Cloud Police Department were dispatched to St.
Cloud Hospital emergency room reference an assault that had occurred in
the early morning hours of 04/02/05.
A 22-year old male victim reported he had been hit in the back of the head
causing him to go to the ground. He was then punched and kicked several
times.
The suspects then took out his wallet and stole approximately $150.00.
The first suspect was described as a white male with dark hair,
approximately 6 feet tall, medium build, wearing a white Nike hooded
sweatshirt and brown leather shoes.
The second suspect was described as a white male with dark hair,
approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, medium build, wearing a dark hooded
South Pole sweatshirt and brown leather shoes.
There were no witnesses. The victim was treated and released from St.
Cloud Hospital.
St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary
On 03/30/05 officers of the St. Cloud Police Department were dispatched to
11 8th Avenue South for a burglary. Forced entry was made into the
building on the side door leading into the alley. Once inside the
suspect/suspects forced entry into three offices. Nothing appears to be
missing from the building.
At this time there are no suspects and no witnesses.
