St. Cloud Police: Burglary
On
06/02/05 at 2254 hours, officers from the St. Cloud Police Department
received a burglary report from the 900 block of 26th Ave N. The
investigation revealed that between 0200 hours and 0300 hours on 06/02/05,
unknown persons entered the residence and took property, including cash
and credit cards. No force was used. There were two other burglaries
within the same area and same time frame on 06/02/05.
Waite Park Police Department: Burglary, Attempted Burglary
On
05/30/2005, Waite Park Police Department received a report of a burglary
that occurred at Wingfoot Commercial, 705 28th Ave S, Waite Park. A window
was broke out to gain entry. Removed from the business was a safe.
On 6/1/2005, Waite Park Police Department received a report of an
attempted burglary at Wingfoot Commercial, 705 28th Ave S, Waite Park.
Entry was attempted through a window.
St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary, Residential
Burglary
On 06/02/05 at
approximately 0245 hours, St. Cloud officers were dispatched to the 800
block of 25th Ave N in reference to a burglary in progress. The victim
advised the officers that a male, approximately six feet tall, 200 pounds,
had entered her residence through an unlocked door and confronted her in
her bedroom, at which time the male ran out the front door.
On 06/01/05 at 0943 hours, St. Cloud officers were dispatched to the 500
block of 25th Ave N in response to a business burglary. The suspects
entered the building through the back door and it appeared that it had
been pried open. A fireproof safe, CD player and receiver were taken along
with necklaces and money from the till. The suspects stole approximately
$700.
Waite Park Police: Commercial Burglary
On Wednesday
May 25th, 2005 the Waite Park Police
Department was called to a commercial burglary that occurred at Exhaust
Pros, 630 Division St W. The suspect(s) removed a window to gain entry
into the business. A Snap-on scan tool and case were taken. The total
value of the burglary is $2800.
St. Cloud Police: Arson
On 5/28/05 at 1612 hours officers were dispatched to a car fire in the
parking lot at 2716 Division Street West. Upon arrival officers observed
smoke coming from inside 1he vehicle which was a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier.
The owner was located in one of the loca1 shops.
Through officers' investigation and witness information officers
discovered that what appeared to be a juvenile male ran up to the vehicle
and threw an object inside the driver's window. Witnesses confirmed that
the item appeared to be burning at the time and caused the car to start on
fire.
The suspect appeared to be a white male 'teen with unknown clothing
description. The suspect then got into a tan-colored vehicle and fled east
on Division Street.
The Fire Marshal responded to the scene. The vehicle appeared to have a
felony amount of damage.
The Fire Marshal requested anyone with information related to this
incident contact the arson hotline 1-800-723-2020.
St. Cloud Police:
Robbery
On 5/28/05 at approximately 0300 hours officers were dispatched to the Law
Enforcement Center for a robbery report. Upon arriva1 officers 1earned
that a 5O year old white male from St. Cloud was intoxicated when he was
pushed to the ground by a group of black males, of unknown age, in the 600
block of West St. Germain Street.
The males took his backpack and left the area.
St.Cloud Police:
Suspicious Activity – Possible Attempted Abduction
On 5/28/05 at approximately 1235 hours, officers were dispatched to the
Wal-Mart store in St. Cloud in reference to a suspicious activity report.
Upon arrival it learned that an unknown black make, late 20s to early 30s,
approximately 6'3" tall with a slender build, wearing light colored khaki
pants and a dark shirt, carrying a 3-4 year old child on his shoulders,
tried to grab a juvenile female. The incident occurred in side the front
exit doors. The juvenile female ran away from the suspect and was not
injured.
The suspect exited the front doors and got into a newer white minivan and
drove away. Police checked the area but were unable to locate any one
matching the description.
Police would like to be notified of any same or similar incidents taking
place in the city of St. Cloud.
Stearns County
Sheriff: Business Burglary
On 4/22/05, the SCSO received a report of a burglary at Lux Service in St.
Augusta. During the night of 4/21/05, unknown persons forced entry to the
business. Entry had been gained by breaking a window. An undisclosed
amount of cash was stolen.
Stearns County
Sheriff: Theft of Black Dirt
On 5/9/05, the SCSO received a report of black dirt being stolen.
Sometime either late on Saturday, the 7th, or Sunday the 8th of May,
unknown persons had brought in a front end loader and truck, and stole
10-15 truckloads of black dirt. This theft happened at 1756 74th Ave, St.
Cloud, in the industrial area SW of Mills Fleet Farm.
Stearns County
Sheriff: Business Burglary
On 5/9/05, the SCSO received a report of a burglary at Gary’s Body Shop,
Hwy 23 and Bel Clare Lane, St. Joseph Twp. Over the weekend, unknown
persons had forced entry to the business by prying open a door. The
following items were reported stolen. One set of Matco metric wrenches,
one set of Matco ¼ inch deep well sockets, one Matco ½” air drill, one S&H
rivet gun, and a jumper pack.
Stearns County
Sheriff: Construction Site Theft
On 5/3/05, the SCSO received a report of stolen tools from a construction
trailer. The theft would have happened over the weekend of May 1st.
Unknown persons forced entry to a construction trailer on 263rd Ave in St.
Martin Twp. Stolen items included a Quincy Air Compressor, a Gentec
Generator, a Milwaukee cordless drill, a DeWalt circular saw, extension
cords and air lines.
