Big Lake Police: Counterfeit Bills
On 7-14-05 at 1208 hours, Big Lake Police responded to a counterfeit
$10.00 bill complaint at the Superamerica station.
An Asian male (Hmong), aged 20~30 yrs, passed counterfeit $10 bill, S/N:
BK57717249B in exchange for gasoline purchase. He left east bound on
Highway 10 in a blue 1995 Olds Acheiva, bearing MN License # MJW146.
Becker police also reported that another counterfeit $10.00 bill with S/N:
BF18269029A was passed by a white male, approx -6'0", mid 20's, wearing
white t-shirt, dark shorts and sunglasses on top of his head. This also
occurred at the Superamerica station. He also left in a blue car.
These parties may also be involved in recent passing of counterfeit $10.00
bills at a bar in big lake, and other locations in the Becker, Big Lake
and Elk River areas.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary
On 07/12/05 officer took a burglary report in the 700 block of 32nd Avenue
North.
The resident noticed the window to his garage had been destroyed and that
someone had entered through the window. Once inside the garage several
too1s and miscellaneous garage items had been moved around, however,
nothing was taken from the garage.
There is not suspect information at this time,
Damage to the window is estimated at $350.00.
St. Cloud Police: Sexual Assault (Solved)
On 6/26/05 at 0146 hours officers were
dispatched to the area of the 1900 b1ock of Michigan Avenue Southeast for
a sexual assault. Investigation revealed that a twenty year old, female
victim of St. Cloud, reported that she was sexually assaulted by a
stranger in the woods near the 1900 block of Michigan Avenue Southeast.
The suspect is described as a dark completed male in his thirties,
approximately 5'9", slender build, with shaved hair on the sides and a
pony tail in the back.
Update – 6/29/05
As of this date, a photograph of the suspect
vehicle is being released to the media for the public’s assistance in
identification. The suspect vehicle is further described as a dark colored
late 1980’s to early 1990’s Chevrolet conversion van with two
light-colored stripes running the length of the vehicle. A spare tire
appeared to be mounted on the rear of the vehicle in a case with metallic
trim. The vehicle also has at least one running board the full length of
the vehicle between the front and rear wheel tires on the passenger side
of the vehicle. The picture of the vehicle can be viewed at the St. Cloud

Burglary
On 07/10/05 at 1442 hours officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of
Hillcrest Road for a burglary complaint.
Investigation revealed that the residence was ransacked and an undisclosed
amount of property was taken from the residence.
This case is still is still being investigated.
