St. Cloud Police: Stolen Vehicle
On 7/19/05 at 1008 hours, St. Cloud Police responded to a stolen vehicle
complaint at 42 32nd Avenue South.
A 1994 Plymouth AC 4-door, gray in color, bearing Minnesota license JCJ113
was stolen between 0845 hours and 1000 hours.
The vehicle bas a quarter tank of gas, no air conditioning and the keys
were left inside.
Waite Park Police:
Stolen Vehicle
On Thursday, July 7, 2005, the Waite Park Police Department was called to
a stolen vehicle complaint which occurred at 511 7th Street S. The vehicle
is described as a 1993 Plymouth Voyager Van, red in color, bearing MN
license plate CBZ 892
Waite Park Police:
Thefts from Vehicles
On Sunday, July 10, 2005, the Waite Park Police Department was called to
several theft complaints. A Chevrolet Malibu parked in the parking lot at
1233 7th Street S had been entered and someone had stolen the stereo. The
stereo is described as a JVC CD player. Total value of the theft is
$200.00
A 1992 Buick parked in the parking lot at 1211 7th Street S had been
entered and someone had stolen the stereo. The stereo is described as a
JVC or Pioneer brand stereo. Many CDs were also taken. Total value of the
theft is $150.00
A green Chevrolet Lumina parked in the lot at 1109 7th Street S was
damaged when someone broke out the back window of the vehicle. It appeared
that someone had gone through the vehicle, but nothing was missing. Value
of the damage is $400.00
On Thursday, July 14, 2005, the owner of a Ford Thunderbird, bearing MN
license JZU 907, called and reported his Sony CD player was stolen from
his vehicle. Total value of the theft is $300.00
Waite Park Police:
Stolen Bike
On Wednesday, July 13, 2005, the Waite Park Police Department was called
to a stolen bike complaint. A NEXT Focus boys bike, was stolen from a
residence in the Tri County Mobile Home Park. The bike is described as
have no gears, hand brakes and 4 pegs. The bike is grey or silver in color
and valued at about $150.00
Waite Park Police:
Stolen Scooter
On Saturday, July 16, 2005, the Waite Park Police Department responded to
a theft complaint on the 300 block of Waite Avenue S. The caller stated
her blue and white Honda scooter, bearing MN license 22354MF had been
stolen. Total value of the theft is $1700.00.
Waite Park Police:
Strong Arm Robbery
On Friday, July 15, 2005, the Waite Park Police Department responded to a
robbery complaint which occurred on the Burlington Northern Railroad
property in Waite Park. The victim was picked up in St. Cloud by two black
males and two white females in a red car. The victim stated the driver
drove to a parking lot off of 3rd Street N in Waite Park. He was then
robbed by two black males, one who tried to put him into a sleeper type
hold. The suspects took cash and a cellular phone.
The suspects are described as two black males in their late teens to early
20’s. The two females are described as in their mid teens.
Waite Park Police:
Robbery
On March 11, 2005, the Waite Park Police Department was called in
reference to an assault similar to the one described above. The victim
stated he was walking home from a party in St. Cloud when he was picked up
by two black males and two white females. The suspect vehicle is described
as a dark red or maroon four door car. After driving around for a while
the driver stopped the vehicle behind Kmart in Waite Park. While outside
the vehicle the suspects assaulted the victim. The two black males then
took the victim’s wallet and left the area.
The suspects were described as two black younger looking males
approximately 5’6” to 5’11” in height. One suspect had corn rows and the
other had black curly hair and was wearing a red puffy winter jacket.
During the altercation the victim did rip the hood off of the red puffy
jacket.
St. Cloud Police: School
Burglary
On 7/17/05 the St. Cloud Police were dispatched to South Junior High at
approximately 1521 hours in reference to a burglary.
Upon arrival officers found that the school had forced entry by unknown
suspects. It appeared the burglary occurred during the early morning hours
on 7/17/05.
It appeared approximately four computers were stolen and there was damage
to other computers and vending machines.
Stearns County Sheriff: Theft
On 7-15-05 Stearns County responded to a theft complaint at a farm on
highway 22 in Eden Lake twp. Taken was a cordless craftsman, model #973,
black drill 14.4 amp from 16692 hwy 22. The theft occurred between
07-09-05 and 07-14-05.
St. Cloud Police: Aggravated
Robbery
On 7-15-05 at 1946 hours, officers responded to a robbery at the Tom Thumb
Store, 1501 Northway Drive.
Investigation revealed that a light skinned black male, 20 to 25 years of
age, with a scruffy beard, approximately 6’2” tall, with a thin build,
demanded money with his hand in his pocket.
The male fled the scene in an easterly direction, toward Timberland
Crossing Apartments. He was wearing a white t-shirt, white hat, jean
shorts, and white shoes. He didn’t have an accent, but had crooked teeth,
big light brown eyes and a deep voice.
St. Cloud Police:
Felony Theft
On 7-15-05 at 0728 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of
Washington Memorial Drive in reverence to a theft.
Officers learned that two 3-feet tall cement lions, weighing approximately
300 pounds each, were stolen from the yard. The lions had been placed on
either side of the driveway.
They were stolen between 7-14-05 at 2200 hours and 7-15-05 at 0700 hours.
St. Cloud Police:
Prescription Theft
On 7-14-05 at 2013 hours, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of 19
˝ Avenue North for the theft of a prescription.
Investigation revealed that on 7-13-05 between 1600-1730 hours, a 33 year
old from St. Cloud had his prescription of Oxycontin taken by an unknown
male. Possible leads are being investigated.
