Waite Park Police: Vehicle Vandalism
On Sunday September 11, 2005, the
Waite Park Police Department received numerous calls about vehicles that
were entered. It does not appear the prowlers took anything from the
vehicles, but the vehicles were gone through. All of the vehicles entered
appear to have been unlocked. All of the vehicles entered were parked in
the following areas 1st Avenue N, 2nd Avenue N,12nd Street N, 8th Avenue
N, and 9th Avenue N. The police department is advising everyone to
remember to lock their doors.
Waite Park Police: Graffiti Vandalism
On September 12, 2005, the Waite Park Police Department took several
reports of buildings being vandalized with graffiti. The suspects are
using black, red, and blue spray paint and painting words on the buildings
in the Burlington Northern area of Waite Park. This includes the area of
7th Avenue N and Great Oak Drive.
St. Cloud Police: Recovered Stolen
Property
On 09/10/03 at 0325 hours officers were dispatched to the 600 block of 7th
Street Southeast to investigate a suspicious person. A 27 year old male
was found in possession of stolen property that police determined to be
taken from at least two vehicles in the immediate area. The suspect was
attempting to enter another vehicle when the police were called.
Update: 09/10/05 1800 hours:
The St. Cloud Police Department is attempting to locate the owner of
property taken in this incident. Unaccounted for is a city issued green
recycling bin and a diaper bag, which had beauty supply tools in it. If
you are missing these please contact the St. Cloud Police Department.
St. Cloud Police: Residential
Burglary
On 09/06/05 between 1345 and 1410 hours an unidentified individual entered
201 3rd Avenue South, which was unoccupied, through an unlocked front door
and stole a Compaq Presario laptop computer valued at $450. The victim, a
21 year old St. Cloud resident, does not have any suspect information.
