Reward Announcement

Tri-County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is pleased to announce that a reward has been paid for a tip that resulted in solving a case that was featured during the summer of 2004.

With this payment, our total for rewards paid to date is
$32,530.00.

Callers to Crime Stoppers remain anonymous and can become eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. In some selected cases, the reward can be up to $ 5,000. Sherburne County: Multiple Case (23) Summaries

Sept 25th, a resident of big lake reported his storage unit at the big Lake mini storage on hwy 10 in big lake township was broken into and several items taken valued at $3,297.

Sept 24th, a resident of Oakdale reported his residence located on 311th Ave in Baldwin Township had been broken into and a number of Household/residential items taken; loss is estimated at $3,225.

Sept 24th, a resident of 165th Ave in Santiago Township reported the theft of an Evinrude 25 hp boat motor valued at $1,500.

Sept 19th, a resident of Monticello reported his vehicle parked at Clear lake Amoco in clear lake had been broken into. Taken were two MTX Audio subwoofers valued at $350 and a MTX audio amplifier valued at $150.

Sept 19th, a resident of 290th circle in Zimmerman reported an unknown party used an ATM card and withdrew $2,835 from a checking account at The Bremer bank.

Sept 19th, a business at 125th St in Baldwin Township reported receiving a $50 counterfeit bill.

Sept 18th, a resident of 105th St in Livonia Township reported the theft of hunting equipment valued at $2,484 from his vehicle.

Sept 18th, a resident of 164th St in Becker Township reported the theft Of a Stihl chainsaw valued at $281 from a locked shed. Unknown suspect punctured the driver’s side tires on his vehicle and took the center caps off of another vehicle.

Sept 18th, a business located on Fremont drive in Zimmerman reported a Burglary; 30 rolls of pennies valued at $15 were taken.

Sept 16th, a resident of 232nd Ave in Orrock Township reported mail taken from the mailbox and thrown into the street.

Sept 16th, a resident of 122nd St se in Becker Township reported an attempted burglary.

Sept 15th, a resident of Elk River reported a fenced-in storage facility located on 125 ½ St in Baldwin Township had been broken into and fishing items removed from inside a boat; loss is estimated at $1,450.

Sept 9th, a business located on 125th St in Baldwin Township reported a pop machine broken into and $5 taken.

Sept 14th, a business located on state St in Clear Lake Township reported $10,000 to $11,000 worth of items stolen from the business property.

Sept 13th, a resident of 185th Ave in Becker Township reported the theft of a box of bank checks.

Sept 12th, a resident of Isanti reported the theft of a Cingular cell phone, wallet, cash and credit card from his vehicle; loss is estimated at $312.

Sept 12th, a business located on hwy 10 in Haven Township reported their business office broken into. Three video cameras were taken. Also batteries for the cameras, chargers, wall adapters and a backup cartridge for a computer; estimated loss is $2,100.

Sept 11th, a business located on 146th St in Orrock Township reported a break-in and $2,000 taken.

Sept 6th, a resident of 233rd Ave NW in Orrock Township reported the theft of a 1983 olds cutlass supreme valued at $1,200.

Sept 3rd, a resident of 178th St in big lake township reported the theft of a 1989 Polaris xl500 valued at $500 and a trailer valued at $600.

Sept 14th, a business located on hwy 169 in Zimmerman reported a vehicle leaving without paying for $39.30 worth of gas.

Sept 11th, a resident of 185th Ave in Becker Township reported the theft of a 2001 Ezgo golf cart valued at $2,495 from her driveway.

Sept 11th, a resident of 185th Ave in Becker Township reported the theft of a 1986 Yamaha golf art valued at $1,200. The golf art had been crashed into a swamp at 185th Ave.

St. Cloud Police: Robbery

On 09/22/05 at 1844 hours officers of the St. Cloud Police Department were advised of robbery that had occurred at approximately I825 hours near BBC Park, in the 100 block of 37th Avenue North.

Investigation revealed that two juvenile males were biking near the park when they were stopped by three unidentified white males in the middle of the street. One of the males demanded money from the victims and threatened to harm them.

One of the victims gave the suspect $20.00 and the three suspects left on bicycles eastbound from the area. No one wa9 injured during this incident.

St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary

On 09/23/05 at 0253 hours officers were dispatched to 2110 8th Street North, the Liquor Shoppe in reference to a burglary.

Officers located a shattered front window and several cases of beer outside of the business. A K-9 track was attempted with negative results. Several items that were left on scene are to be processed for fingerprints. At this time no arrests have been made.

St. Cloud Police: Theft

The St. Cloud Police are investigating a theft that occurred at Halenbeck Hall at SCSU. The theft happened between 9/12/05 at 2320 hours and 9/13/05 at 0800 hours.

Taken from a safe in the Office of Sports Facilities was an envelope containing $3,344 in cash and checks.
