Sauk Rapids Police: 2 – Case Summaries

Tuesday, January 2, 2007

Burglary of an occupied dwelling in the 300 block of 9 ˝ Street North. No other details available.

900 block of River Ave No. 9:28 AM Damage to Property / Sometime New Years Eve a truck ran into the garage at above address Unknown suspect vehicle. Owner said truck had large tread as marks were left in the snow. He will be checking with his tenants and call if he gets any information.

Tuesday, December 12

3:45 p.m. Theft, Amber Ave S. A suitcase, two fishing tackle boxes & six fishing poles were stolen from a garage.

Wednesday, December 13

5:10 p.m. Theft, 1900 block of Sandstone Loop. Ten rolls of 15-pound tar paper, ten rolls of winter tar paper & ten packages of continuous roof vent were stolen from construction site.

Monday, December 18

10:48 p.m. Burglary, 10 block Riverside Ave S. Unoccupied home was entered. The case is under investigation.

Tuesday, December 19

11:10 a.m. Vandalism, 300 block 7th St North. Vehicle was keyed.

Friday, December 22

7:39 a.m. Vandalism, 700 blk of 3rd Avenue N. Front yard Christmas decorations were broken.

8:06 a.m. Motor vehicle tampering, 500 blk of 1st St N. Two UNLOCKED vehicles were entered overnight.

Sunday, December 24

5:55 a.m. Motor vehicle tampering, 400 blk of 7th St N.

Friday, December 29

2:30 p.m. Theft, 700 block 2nd Street S. Homeowner reported the theft of his air conditioning unit. Under nvestigation.

Saturday, December 30

1:40 p.m. Vandalism to vehicle, 10 block Riverside Ave N. Vehicle was keyed while parked overnight.

Sunday, December 31

11:11 p.m. Vandalism to vehicle, 400 blk Dukes Court.

Monday, January 1

9:05 a.m. Tampering with motor vehicle & theft, 100 block 4th Ave N. A Pioneer CD player was stolen from UNLOCKED vehicle overnight.

St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary

On 12/31/06 at approximately 2225 hours St. Cloud police wore dispatched to the Phosan Vietnamese restaurant at 4144 2nd Street South for a burglary. Upon arrival investigation revealed that unknown person(s) had broken the rear door and forcibly gained access to the contents of the cash register. The suspect(s) made off with an unknown amount of cash.


St. Cloud Police: 3 – Business Burglaries

On 12/31/06 at 2225 hours officers were dispatched to Ariel Beauty Supply, 4134 2nd Street South for an alarm. Upon arrival it was discovered that a front store window had been smashed out and that items had been stolen from the store.

Entry was also made through an adjoining business, Westside Chiropractic, at 4142 2nd Street South; however, it is unknown what if anything was taken from that business.

A third business in the same mall was entered in the same fashion. Additional details weren’t immediately available.
