Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of October 1, 2007

St. Cloud Police: Burglary

On 10/3/07 at 1739 hours officers were dispatched to the 900 block of 9th Street S for a burglary. Upon arrival officers learned that two unknown males had knocked on the victim’s apartment door. When the victim answered the door one of the males punched him in the face and tied him up while the other male stole items from the apartment. There is no suspect description and the investigation in ongoing.

Sartell Police: 3 – Case Summaries

Wednesday, September 19

6:43 a.m. Theft of vehicle, 300 block of Pheasant Drive. Owner reported that his pickup truck, which had been parked overnight in his driveway, was missing. Shortly thereafter, the vehicle was located within blocks of the owner’s residence. No damage was found on the vehicle and it did not appear as if anything was stolen from inside the pickup.

Friday, September 21

1:30 p.m. Burglary, 900 block of 11th Street South. Homeowner reported the theft of several liquor bottles containing various amount of alcohol from his garage.

10:05 p.m. Burglary, Lowell Circle. Homeowner reported that her unlocked home was entered and items were scattered about. Nothing appeared to have been stolen.

Stearns County Sheriff: Criminal Damage to Property (From week of September 24, 2007)

     

On 9/24/07, the SCSO received a damage to property report. The damage took place off 325th St in St. Wendel Twp. Unknown person or persons started up a large haulage truck and drove it into a barn, causing extensive damage to the truck and barn.  Damage’s are expected to be in the tens of thousand of dollars.  A noise report had also been received during the early morning of Sunday, September 23rd, coinciding with the damage found the morning of 9/24.  It is believed the damage occurred early Sunday morning, about 1:30am.  Persons with information are asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
