Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of October 15, 2007
St. Cloud Police: Gun Complaint
On 10/13/07 at 2134 hours, officers were dispatched to the SuperAmerica
located at 2200 West Division Street for a gun complaint. Investigation
revealed that approximately eight to ten black males had a physical
altercation in front of the gas station. One of the black males lifted up
his shirt to show the handle of a black pistol which was in his waistband.
After the weapon was brandished, all parties involved in the fight fled
the area.
The suspect with the gun we, described as a black male, approximately 18
to 19 years old, 5'6", medium build, with a black football style jersey,
black hat, and black jeans. The suspect fled in a maroon Chevrolet Lumina
with a partial Minnesota plate of 804.
Sartell Police: 7 – Case Summaries
Wednesday, October 10
4:04 p.m. Criminal damage to property and theft, Pine Cone Pet Hospital. A
vehicle window was smashed and a green Eddie Bauer luggage bag containing
miscellaneous items was stolen from the vehicle.
Thursday, October 11
11:40 p.m. Criminal damage, Champion Field. Plywood board covering
concession stand was broken. Suspect(s) did not gain access.
Friday, October 12
9:00 a.m. Criminal damage, Champion Field. Advertisement signs around ball
field were spray painted.
2:40 p.m. Criminal damage, Mississippi River walking bridge. Bridge was
spray painted.
3:40 p.m. Burglary and theft, 700 block of 9th Avenue North. A Huskavarna
chain saw, AM/FM radio, ice fishing equipment, four large tractor tubes
and a cooler were stolen from a garage. No forced entry.
Sunday, October 14
6:53 p.m. Criminal damage and burglary, 1500 block of Amber Avenue South.
A vehicle was vandalized while parked in the garage.
10:29 p.m. Theft, 2300 block of Troop Drive. While on patrol, officers
observed two suspicious males, in possession of a bolt cutter, near a new
commercial building under construction. Officers also observed an open
door on a construction trailer with a damaged padlock lying next to it.
The two males, ages 23 and 26, were arrested pending charges of criminal
damage, receiving stolen property, theft, possession of burglary tools and
possession of a small amount of marijuana.
St. Cloud Police: Arson
(From week of 10-8-07)
The St. Cloud Fire and Police Departments are asking for your help in
solving arson fires that recently occurred on the South East Side.
The first fire occurred on Saturday September 15th in the 400 block of
Wilson Avenue SE in the early morning hours and destroyed a garage and its
contents.
The second fire occurred approximately 1 block further south down a common
alleyway on Saturday September 29th in the 600 block of Riverside Drive
SE, again in the early morning hours, and destroyed a garage, its contents
and a vehicle.
In both cases the garages were entered and the fires set.
St. Cloud Police: Assault

10-8-07)
On 10/6/07 at approximately 0133 hours officers were dispatched to the Red
Carpet for an assault. Investigation revealed that a female had been
struck by an unknown black male on the dance floor when he was approached
by the female’s sister. The black male fled prior to officer’s arrival.
The female was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross for
non-life threatening injuries.
The black male is described as approximately 5’ 5” to 6’ tall, braided
hair, slender build, and was wearing a polo shirt with blue and white
horizontal stripes.
St. Cloud Police: Burglary
(From week of 10-8-07)
On 10/9/07 at approximately 0530 hours officers were dispatched to the
1300 block of 25th Ave S in reference to a burglary. Officers made contact
with the victim who reported the burglary at his residence. Victim
reported that an individual had broken into a vehicle parked outside his
garage and used the garage door opener located in that vehicle to open up
his garage and gain entrance to the garage. Victim reported that nothing
was taken inside the garage, however the garage door opener was taken from
the vehicle on the outside. Several items were left inside the garage from
the suspect that did not belong to the homeowner.
