Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of October 22, 2007

St. Cloud Police: Medical Emergency

On 10/23/07 at 0730 hours, officers responded to a medical emergency at 6th Street South and 6th Avenue South. A witness advised that a white male was chasing a black male westbound on 6th Street South.

A SCSU staff member and St. Cloud resident was walking eastbound and was either struck by the fleeing black male or run over by him and suffered a head injury when be fell to the pavement.

The witness 1ast saw the two runners headed westbound and they were not located.

The black male was in his late twenties with short hair, a receding hair line, and he had a goatee.

The victim suffered a minor concussion.

Sartell Police: 4 – Case Summaries

Monday, October 15

12:50 a.m. Criminal damage, Benton Drive Mini Serv. Glass entrance door was smashed. Suspect(s) did not gain access into the building.

6:38 a.m. Theft, 2200 block of Troop Drive. Four factory 5-star rims for a 2005 Chevy Silverado were stolen from a garage.

2:08 p.m. Criminal damage and theft, Gold’s Gym. Vehicle window was smashed and a purse that had been left visible in the vehicle was stolen.

Sunday, October 21

10:50 a.m. Criminal damage, 800 block of 1st Avenue NE. Mailbox was damaged.

Stearns County Sheriff: Construction Site Break-ins and Possible Thefts

The company building the new oil pipeline in Stearns County has been experiencing a series of break-ins and thefts at their construction sites. A recent incident occurred on Co Rd 42 last week.  Someone broke into the trailer that was parked close to the road.  Nothing was taken however.  The project supervisor reported that there have been other break-ins at other site locations.  Some have been reported and some have not. 

Stearns County Sheriff: Stolen Fish House

On 10/16 the SCSO received a report of a stolen fish house in Lynden Twp.  The owner of the fish house had moved it to a location near a business on Edison Circle, and put for sale signs on it.  The fish house was discovered missing on 10/16.  Suspects had to back up to the fish house, remove the trailer lock and tow it away.  The fish house is described as a 05’ Ice Castle 8’x16’, black with a white door.  Value estimated at $10,000. Persons with information are asked to contact SCSO or Crime Stoppers.  

Stearns County Sheriff: 3 – Vandalism to Vehicles

On 10/22, the SCSO received vandalism to vehicles report at Capital Concrete in Maine Prairie Twp.   Unknown persons had dumped anti-freeze into the fuel tanks of 3 work trucks.  Persons with information are asked to contact SCSO or Crime Stoppers.

St. Cloud Police:  Robbery

On 10/19/07 officers were dispatched to St. Cloud State University campus in reference to a reported robbery. An adult male student reported to police that his wallet was forcibly taken from him behind the Business Building of St. Cloud State University on the above date at approximately 1100 hours. The adult male victim required no medical attention.

St. Cloud Police Department is currently looking for any witnesses that may have been in the area. Suspects are described as two white males, approximately 6' to 6'1 ", approximately college age. If you have any information: contact St. Cloud Police or Crime Stoppers.
