Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of October 29, 2007
St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Assault with Injuries
On 11/01/07: at approximately 0128 hours Officers were dispatched to the
500 block of 1st Street South for an assault. Upon arrival, officers
located a 21 year old male of Clayton, Wisconsin lying unconscious in the
parking lot with head and facial lacerations
After further investigation, officers were advised that this male had been
struck by an unknown male who fled the area with two other males. Officers
were unable to locate these males. The victim was transported to the
hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
St. Cloud Police: Residential
Burglary and Theft
On 10/31/07 at 1324 hours officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of
22nd Street South, in reference to a burglary complaint.
Through investigation officers learned that between 0800 hours and 1300
hours unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered the residence and stole
electronic equipment and US currency. The residence was unoccupied at the
time of the burglary.
Waite Park Police: Attempted Mail
Theft
Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle with two young Hispanic
females and two adult Hispanic females pulling up to a mailbox and taking
mail out of it. The complainant confronted the young girl who then put the
letter back in the mail box. The vehicle then sped away. The officer was
able to obtain some information to help identify the suspects and the case
is under investigation.
St. Cloud Police: Aggravated
Assault and Terroristic Threats
On 10/30/07 at approximately 1539 hours officers were dispatched to the
area of the 1500 Block of 2nd Street North for a domestic assault. Upon
officer arrival the 26 year old female victim informed officers that she
had been assaulted by her boyfriend, Ray Reco McNeary, age 22 of St.
Cloud. The victim advised officers that while driving her vehicle McNeary
had assaulted her by punching her in the face and holding & pocketknife to
her throat while threatening to kill her.
She did not require any medical attention. The suspect had left the area
prior to officer arrival and has not been located as of this time.
Any person with information on McNeary’s whereabouts is encouraged to
contact Crime Stoppers at 255-1301 and/or the St. Cloud Police Department
at 251-1200.
Sartell Police: 3 – Case Summaries
Tuesday, October 23
9:40 a.m. Theft, 1500 block of Amber Avenue South. A wallet was stolen
overnight from an unlocked vehicle.
1:23 p.m. Vandalism, 200 block of 13th Street North. Homeowner’s fence was
spray painted.
Thursday, October 25
3:49 p.m. Theft, 1400 block of 9th Avenue North. An unlocked vehicle was
entered and a black Apple I-pod, a black trans dock for the I-pod, a
Magellen Sport Trax hand held GPS (yellow and black) with power cord and
soft case, and a 6-pack of 24-ounce Pepsi bottles were stolen.
Waite Park Police: Attempted
Robbery
On 10/28/07 at approximately 1143 pm officers responded to a report of an
attempted robbery. The victim was walking on Park Meadows Drive when a
white male ran up behind her and attempted to take her purse. The victim
yelled and the suspect ran to an older white car. The vehicle was last
seen heading towards 2nd Avenue S. The suspect did not get any of the
victim's property.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late teens to early 20's,
5' 8", 160 lbs with dark short hair wearing a light colored baseball cap,
black leather type jacket and blue jeans.
St. Cloud Police: Robbery
On 10/28/07 at 1310 hours officers
were dispatched to a robbery complaint at the Gateway Motel, 310 Lincoln
Avenue Southeast.
Upon arrival officers were informed that an unknown suspect demanded money
from the Gateway Motel and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of U.S.
currency.
The suspect was described as a white male, early 20s, 6'0, 150 pounds,
wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark colored baseball cap, and blue
jeans. A canvas of the area was unable to locate the suspect.
St. Cloud Police: Drive By Shooting
On 10/27/07 at 1221 hours officers were dispatched to the Area Learning
Center at 809 12th Street North for a report of two damaged windows.
Investigation revealed that each window had a bullet hole through it.
Officers collected evidence at the scene. The building was unoccupied at
the time of the incident and no one was injured.
