Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of November 12, 2007
Waite Park Police: Assault with Minor Injuries
Officers responded to a report of an assault at Olive Garden. The victim
stated a black male in his late teens or early 20's, wearing a dark green
parka and jeans ran up behind her and punched her in the back of the head.
The male than ran off with 4 other black males. The victim suffered minor
injuries. The suspect has not been located.
Waite Park Police: Theft of US Mail
Officers were called to a theft of mail complaint in the Angus Acres
neighborhood off of 2nd Avenue S. The victim stated they left outgoing
mail in the mailbox with the flag up. An hour and 20 minutes later they
noticed the door was open and 1 bill was missing. The victim was able to
place a stop payment on the check.
This is the second mail theft was have had reported in this area in the
last couple of weeks. This theft happened between 7:20 and 8:40 am. The
last report of mail theft happened on Oct 26th at about 6 pm. Please do
not leave out going mail in your home mailbox. Place all outgoing mail in
the blue post office boxes. Report any suspicious vehicles in the area and

Incident Location: 101 Stratford St W, Avon MN 56310
Details of Incident:
Hit and run occurred – property damage only. Officer arrived and observed
that a silver Dodge Durango was struck by an unknown vehicle that was
heading westbound on Stratford St W. The Durango was hit with enough force
to push the back end of the Durango over into another vehicle. Witness
described a vehicle leaving the area that had a passenger head light that
was not operational, unknown color of the vehicle, however witness
described the vehicle as a possible 4 door passenger car, unknown number
of occupants. Left at the scene were pieces of a head light assembly that
are believed to be from an early 90’s to a later model vehicle;
approximately a foot long piece of the suspected vehicle which shows a
maroon or burgundy color (see pictures). The silver Durango had paint
transfer on the passenger side on two separate areas which were reddish in
color, and the lower area of the passenger door there are black transfer
marks possibly from a bumper. The suspect vehicle should have significant
damage to the front or the right front of the vehicle. Anyone having

Sartell Police: 11 – Case Summaries
Monday, November 5
7:25 a.m. Criminal damage, 500 block of Greenview Court. Vandals put
mustard and dead fish on vehicle parked overnight in driveway.
7:59 p.m. Criminal damage and theft, Gold’s Gym. Window of vehicle was
broken and a purse that had been laying on the floor of the vehicle was
stolen.
Tuesday, November 6
7:07 a.m. Vandalism, 500 block of 19th Avenue North. Garage door was spray
painted with profanity.
10:00 a.m. Burglary and theft, JK Self storage. Storage unit was broken
into and several checks were stolen.
8:38 p.m. Vandalism, 100 block of Perimeter Drive. Suspect(s) threw a sign
and a plant against a vehicle parked on the street.
Wednesday, November 7
10:00 a.m. Burglary and theft, G-Allen’s. Business was broken into during
the night and several items were reported stolen. Police are
investigating.
4:25 p.m. Theft, 1500 block of 7th Avenue South. A gray Goodman 3-ton
condensing unit was stolen from a garage.
7:17 p.m. Vandalism, 300-500 blocks of 19th Avenue North. Two juvenile
males wearing gray hooded sweatshirts and carrying a baseball bat were
observed smashing pumpkins. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.
Friday, November 9
8:00 a.m. Theft, 1000 block of Riverside Avenue North. A Wenner aluminum
walking beam was stolen from the back yard of the residence.
9:02 a.m. Theft, 11th Street North and Celebration Drive. Street signs
from both locations were stolen.
Sunday, November 11
7:28 p.m. Burglary, criminal damage and theft, 600 block of Huntington
Drive. Police are investigating.
St. Cloud Police: 1st Degree Burglary, Terroristic Threats and other
charges
On 11/11/07 at approximately 0138 hours, while investigating a fight at
1210 6th Avenue South, responding officers were made aware that three
white males gained entry through an unlocked back door of a nearby
residence seeking retribution for the victim of the fight and attempting
to locate suspects in regard to the fight.
All three males fled from the residence, heading northbound. One 19 year
old male from Annandale, was arrested after the foot pursuit and was later
positively identified as one of the males who had entered the house and
assaulted an adult male, and threatened to cut the small children inside
the residence.
After transporting the suspect to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of
his injuries, he was transported to the Stearns County Jail where he was
booked and held on charges of 1st degree burglary, terroristic threats,
disorderly conduct, fleeing on foot, obstructing legal process, and minor
consumption.
Anyone with information regarding the other two suspects is asked to call
the St. Cloud Police Department or Crime Stoppers at (320) 255-1301.
St. Cloud Police: Robbery
On 11/09/07 at 1903 hours officers were dispatched to Coborn’s, 900 Cooper
Avenue South, for a robbery complaint. A female customer's purse was taken
by a white male, who left the store prior to officers' arrival.
The male suspect is described as a white male in his early twenties, 5'11
", 160 pounds, and was last seen wearing black jeans, a black jacket and a
black beanie. The male was last seen running northbound near Best Mart
carrying a red woman's purse.

St. Cloud Police: Business
Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property and Theft
On 11/09/07 a business owner in the 300 block of Franklin Avenue
Northeast, reported for the second time this week unknown person(s) had
entered a secured outdoor storage facility. The thieves pried open an
outdoor gasoline storage tank and siphoned gas from the tank by using
hoses and plastic barrels. The thieves also damaged parked vehicles by
punching holes In gas tanks so they could siphon gas by using the same
hoses.
