Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of December 3, 2007
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary
and Theft
On 12/05/07 at 2150 hours officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of
Washington Memorial Drive, for a burglary. Officers met with a 20-year-old
victim from St. Cloud who had numerous items taken from his vehicle that
was parked inside of his garage. The garage was locked, however; the
suspect gained entry through an adjacent garage that was unlocked and
crawled up over the rafters. The incident happened between 12/04/01 at
2200 hours and 12/05/07 at 2100 hours. The St. Cloud Police Department is
currently investigating this burglary and anyone with information is
encouraged to contact the St. Cloud Police 251-1200 or Crime Stoppers
255-1301.
Sartell Police: 2 – Case Summaries
Monday, November 26
1:29 a.m. Burglary, Sartell Liquor Store. Front glass window was smashed.
A case of beer was taken.
Sunday, December 2
11:52 a.m. Theft, Evergreen Village storage area. A green 2000 E-ton 50 cc
4-wheeler and a blue 2002 Kasea 125 G Adventure Buggy were stolen from the
storage area.
St. Cloud Police: Business
Burglary and Criminal Damage to Property
On 12/04/07 at approximately 0420 hours officers were dispatched to 3959
2nd Street South, Suite 305, for the report of an alarm. Upon arrival
officers observed that the front window of the Cold Stone Creamery had
been smashed open. Officers then cleared the building and observed that
the cash registers had been thrown on the floor in an attempt to remove
them.
The surveillance camera indicated that a male had used a crowbar to smash
the north facing window to gain entry and jumped over the counter in an
attempt to gain access to the cash registers and the safe. The suspect was
unable to remove the safe or the cash registers and left the scene prior
to officers' arrival.
Waite Park Police: Theft from Cash Wise and Damage to Property
On Monday, November 26, 2007 11:35:15 PM Officers responded to a report of
a stacker machine that had been pried open in the entryway to Cash Wise.
The money box was missing. In another location the prepaid calling card
machine was pried open and the money box was missing.

Stearns County Sheriff: Business Burglary, Theft and Criminal Damage to
Property
11/24/07, Officers from SCSO received a report of a burglary on Sterling
Drive in St. Joseph Twp. Unknown suspects forced entry into a building at
this address and stole two computers. Entry was gained by prying open a
door. Other buildings on the property were also entered. The suspects
had gone through desks and file cabinets looking for items to steal. In
addition to the building break in, suspect had smashed the windows out of
several employee vehicles parked outside. Extensive damage was done by
the suspects in forcing entry to the building and to the cars.
St. Cloud Police: Racial Incident and
Threats
On 12/02/07 at approximately 0054 hours, officers were dispatched to the
area of l5th Avenue Southeast and University Drive Southeast in reference
to a threats complaint.
Investigation revealed that three white males approached an
African-American juvenile male, displayed a bandanna with a Nazi symbol on
it, made racist comments, and pushed him. The juvenile male was not
injured during the altercation.

St. Cloud Police: Theft
On 11/30/07 at approximately 1313 hours a black male suspect entered the
office at Gopher Bargain Center and stole cash from the safe. The office
was unoccupied and the safe was unlocked at the time of the theft.
A second black male suspect attempted to distract a store employee while
the theft was committed.
The suspects escaped the store and were last seen southbound on Lincoln
Avenue in a maroon mid-sized passenger car with a silver stripe across the
trailing edge of the trunk deck. Waite Park Police: Forgery Holiday Station Waite Park - $111.03
Attached is a picture of a suspect in a forgery that happened on 11/21/07
at Holiday (157 Waite Ave S) in Waite Park. The credit card used at
Holiday belonged to a male who had wallet stolen from his vehicle while at
Gold's Gym in Sartell.
