for Week of February 12, 2007
St. Cloud Police: Bomb Threat
On 02/14/07 at approximately 0900 hours an unknown male called in a bomb
threat at the ALC Wilson School in St. Cloud. The school was evacuated and
St. Cloud Police and Fire searched for any suspicious items and none were
found. After the search, students were allowed back into the building and
school then resumed.
The caller was reported to have had a possible foreign accent and the
investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident is
requested to contact Officer Vette at the St. Cloud Police Department or
Crime Stoppers.
Sartell Police: 3 – Case Summaries
Thursday, February 8
10:15 a.m. Theft and property damage, 800 block 10th Ave N. Vehicle window
was broken and a Pioneer CD player was stolen.
Sunday, February 11
10:50 a.m. Vandalism, 100 block 10th St S. Homeowner reported that unknown
suspect(s) drive a vehicle through his yard.
Monday, February 12
10:38 a.m. Theft and criminal damage, 800 block 10th Ave N. Vehicle window
was smashed and a Pioneer radio/CD player, model # DZH-P3700MD, was
stolen.
St. Cloud Police: Sexual Assault
On 2/12/07 at 0027 hours, officers were dispatched to the St. Cloud
Hospital for a sex assault complaint.
Through investigation it was determined that a 28 year old Sauk Rapids
woman was sexually assaulted by two unknown males at an unknown location.
At this time there are no suspects in this case and the investigation is
ongoing.
St. Cloud Police: Stolen Vehicle and Damage to Property
On 02/12/07 at 2051 hours officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart. 380 33rd
Avenue South for a report of a motor vehicle that had just been stolen.
The vehicle was left parked in the parking lot running with the keys in
the ignition. It was located approximately 15 minutes later in the south
end of St. Cloud after it had been crashed into numerous trees on the side
of the road.
St. Cloud Police are advising car owners not to leave their vehicles
running and unlocked.
Waite Park Police: Business Burglary and Theft
On 2/9/07 the Waite Park Police Department received a report of a burglary
at 906 1st Street S, EcoWater Systems. Someone entered the business
through a window. Drawers and cabinets were gone through and an
undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
