for Week of February 19, 2007
REWARD ANNOUNCEMENT
Tri-County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is pleased to announce that another reward
has been paid for a tip that resulted in solving several cases that were
featured on our web site and radio programs during the fall and winter of
2006. This is the second reward that has been paid within the past two
weeks. The information for last weeks reward was submitted to us via our
web site and the new TipSoft program.
St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary
On 02/21/07 at 2125 hours officers responded to Auto Value at 220 6th
Avenue South for a burglary. Officers found that the business had been
broken into and an undisclosed amount of cash and items had been taken.
St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Robbery
On 02/18/07 at approximately 0338 hours officer were dispatched to a
robbery that had occurred in the area of University Drive South and 5th
Avenue South. The victim, a 22 year old male resident of St. Cloud, was
approached by two white males in their late teens or early 20's, who
demanded money.
One suspect punched the victim in the face. They took an undisclosed
amount of cash.
The suspects are described as follows:
1. A white male, 16 to 22 years old, 5' 10" to 6' 1" tall, skinny, short
dark hair, and wearing a red bubble coat.
2. A white male, 17 to 22 years old, 5' 7” to 5' 9" tall, very short dark
hair, acne, stubble facial hair, and wearing a dark bubble coat.
The suspects were seen leaving the area in a dark colored Ford Taurus, a
late 90's model.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft
On 2-13-07 at approximately 1315 hours, officers were dispatched to the
400 block of 8th Street South for a burglary complaint. The victim
reported that sometime on 02/13/07 between 0100 hours and 2300 hours,
unknown suspect(s) broke a window and entered the residence. Two safes, an
undisclosed amount of cash and other items were taken from the residence.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and
Theft
On 02/15/07 at 2256 hours officers were dispatched to the 800 block of 4th
Avenue South, reference a burglary complaint. Investigation revealed that
the victim left his home at approximately 1400 hours. When he returned
home at approximately 2200 hours he discovered that his computer was
missing. There were no signs of forced entry found.
