Crime Stoppers Open Cases
for Week of February 26, 2007

Stearns County Sheriff: Residential Burglary and Theft 
 
On 2-27-07 at 1755 hours, Stearns County deputies responded to a burglary and theft complaint on CO Road 185 in Sauk Centre Township. Sometime during the day unknown suspects forced there way through an access door into a shed. Items taken, 2- upper portions of red craftsman tool chest, both were full of complete sets of hand tools, 1/2 and 3/4 inch socket sets, wrenches, screwdriver sets etc.  Yellow and black Dewalt 1/2 inch electric drill, red Milwaukee skill saw in a red carrying case and a red and black Milwaukee jigsaw in a steal craftsman carrying case. No serial numbers for anything.  2 suspects were dropped of on CO Road 185 north of the victim’s residence.  Two sets of foot tracks in snow lead to house then shed.  I believe two suspects gained entry into the shed, and then called a third suspect in a vehicle who backed pickup or SUV type vehicle up next to the shed where stolen items were loaded up.

Benton County Sheriff: Sexual Assault

On Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at approximately 4:30 a.m. Benton County Sheriff’s office received a complaint of a sexua1 assault at Rockwood Estates trailer park in Watab Township. Upon arrival deputies were informed that an unwanted male had entered a residence and had made unwanted sexual contact with two juveniles.

Deputies were informed that the male then left northbound in a newer dark pickup.

Suspect Description:
Caucasian male light skin
Age 20's
Approximately 5' 8” tall
Stocky Build
Possible hazel/green eyes
Puggy face with a double chin
Reddish blond hair, approximately one inch in length and messy Reddish blond thin line beard and goatee, beard is approximately ¼ inches wide
Suspect smelled of alcohol and body odor.

Clothing description:
Plain white short sleeve tee shirt, gray sweatpants with thin stripe along the leg and white and black tennis shoes.

Vehicle description:
Full size pickup, possible color of dark blue.

REWARD ANNOUNCEMENT

Tri-County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is pleased to announce that another reward has been paid for a tip that resulted in solving several cases that were featured on our web site and radio programs during the fall and winter of 2006. This is the second reward that has been paid within the past two weeks. The information for last weeks reward was submitted to us via our web site and the new TipSoft program.
