St. Cloud Police: Business
Burglary and Theft
On 02/07/06 officers responded to 3520 West Division Street reference a
burglary. Officers met with the owner of China Restaurant, who reported
his business had been broken into. Signs of forced entry were observed. An
undetermined amount of currency was taken.
St. Cloud Police:
Vehicle Theft
On 02/07/07 at approximately 1121 hour’s officers were dispatched to 701
15th Avenue Southeast, to investigate report of a stolen vehicle.
Investigation revealed that between 2200 hours on 02/06/07 and 0600 hours
on 02/07/078 a Freightliner semi truck, white in color with green stripes,
bearing Minnesota license PAC3042, was taken from the lot of St Cloud Auto
Sales.
Sartell Police: 2 –
Case Summaries
Friday, February 2
3:41 p.m. Gas leak, Perimeter Drive. Report of a vehicle striking an
electrical box and gas pipe. The fire department and Xcel Energy were
called to the scene. Officers were unable to locate the striking vehicle.
The case is under investigation.
Monday, February 5
9:08 a.m. Theft, 2100 block of 3rd Street North. Homeowner reported the
theft of several construction tools from an unlocked construction trailer.
The following items were reported stolen: 2 Makista skill saws, Dewalt
radio, 3 Dewalt 18 volt batteries, Dewalt 18 volt skillsaw, Dewalt 18 volt
drill, Porter Cable SawzAll, Paslode 16 gauge cordless trim nailer and Max
roofing nailer.
St. Cloud Police: Business
Burglary and Theft
On 02/06/07 at 0507 hours officers were dispatched to the Copper Lantern,
located at is Highway 10 South, reference a burglary complaint.
Investigation revealed that an unknown suspect(s) entered the business
through the roof and stole an unknown amount of money.
Stearns County Sheriff: 6 - Daytime Residential Burglaries and Thefts
The SCSO is investigating several daytime residential break-ins. Stearns
County deputies were dispatched to three burglaries on 2/5/07, two near
Avon and one in Lynden Twp. In late January three similar burglaries were
reported in the Freeport/Sauk Centre area. Method of operation is to
force a door open, take firearms and currency that is left out. In other
cases DVD’s computers and other electronic equipment has been taken. The
public is urged to watch their neighborhoods for suspicious activity
and/or vehicles.
St. Cloud Police: Attempted
Sexual Assault
On 02/02/07 at approximately 0001 hours the Saint Cloud Police Department
was dispatched to the 10 block of 5111 Avenue South to investigate an
attempted sexual assault complaint. A 22 year old female victim from St.
Cloud reported that on 02/01/07 at approximately 2340 hours she was
assaulted by a male in the alley between the Red Carpet and the Press Bar.
The male threatened to kill her and held a knife to her throat, causing
minor injuries. At that time the male attempted to remove her clothing.
The suspect was described as a black male in his late twenties or early
thirties, approximately 6'0" to 6'1" with a medium build, crooked teeth, a
mole or birthmark under his right eye, and wearing a dark jacket and dark
baggy jeans.
The female screamed for help and an unknown male came into the alley and
scared the suspect away. The suspect was last seen running westbound down
the alley. The victim did not require any medical treatment.
The Saint Cloud Police Department is requesting that anyone who may have
witnessed this incident or may have information regarding the suspect
contact the Saint Cloud Police Department at (320) 251-1200.
UPDATE:
This case is being actively investigated. Suspect does NOT appear to be
similar to the suspect in the St. Paul sexual assaults.
UPDATE:
The St. Cloud Police Department is looking to locate and identify a
possible witness to this assault. Anybody with information is encouraged
to contact the police department or Crime Stoppers to help further in this
investigation.
