for Week of March 19, 2007
St. Cloud Police: Burglary
On 3/20/07 at approximately 0603 hours,
officers were dispatched to Brigitte’s Café, 42 32nd Avenue S, St. Cloud,
in reference to a burglary. Upon investigation it was determined that
unknown person(s) broke into the restaurant through the front door and
stolen an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
St. Cloud Police: Vandalism to Vehicles
The St. Cloud Police is currently
investigating a series of vehicle vandalisms in the area of the 1000 block
of 14th Street N. These vehicle vandalisms occurred on 3/15/07 between
0300 and 055 hours. All vehicles involved were parked on the street in
this area and had windows smashed out.
Update: The St. Cloud Police has seen around 50 acts of vandalism since
03/15/07. Most of the vandalism has been car windows shot out with a
pellet gun. Some homes have had their windows also shot at. Approximately
30 of these incidents have occurred in the City of St. Cloud with another
20 in the surrounding area. The damage is in the several thousands of
dollars.
St. Cloud Police: Burglary
On 3/18/07 officers were dispatched to 2108
8th Street N to a burglary complaint. Suspect(s) had gained entrance into
the business by breaking a window. An undisclosed amount of cash and
checks were taken. It was determined that the burglary took place between
7:30 p.m. on 003/17/07 and 8:30 a.m. on 03/18/07.
St. Cloud Police: Assault
On 03/22/07 at approximately 0001 hours,
officers from the St. Cloud Police came across what appeared to be a fight
at 7th Street S and East Lake Blvd. Several people fled from the area.
Officers found a male that had been stabbed during the altercation. The
victim is an 18 year old male who resides in St. Cloud. A second male was
located a few block away who had cut one of his fingers which required
medical attention. That male was also an 18 year old male from St. Cloud.
Both males were transported to the St. Cloud Hospital. No suspects have
been arrested at this time.
St. Cloud Police: Burglary
On 03/22/07 officers were dispatched to 1230
East Highway 23 to investigate a burglary. It appears sometime overnight
unknown person(s) forced entry into the church and stole approximately
$3,000 worth of items.
