St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary and Theft
On 05/07/07 at 0810 hour’s officers responded to Dollar Days at 3340 West
Division Street for a burglary that had occurred overnight. Evidence found
at the scene showed that the front door had been smashed out. The office
door had been pried and smashed. The safe was missing from the office and
two gray dollies from the back room were missing and were presumed used to
take the safe. It is believed that it was taken out the back door.
There was video surveillance recording at the time, which will be
available later this date.
St. Cloud Police: Attempted Business Burglary and Damage to Property
Sometime overnight from O5/06/07 to 05/07/07 unknown persons damaged a
security light at 625 Highway 10 South, Kentucky Fried Chicken. The
Suspects also attempted to gain entry to the store by trying to pry open
the drive-thru window. Entry was not gained.
St. Cloud Police: Sexual Assault
On 05/04/07 a 23-year-old female from St. Cloud reported a sexual assault
complaint to the St. Cloud Police Department that was to have occurred on
05/03/07 at 2306 hours. Victim states she mistakenly entered into a car in
the 10 block of 5th Avenue South which was driven by an unknown male. The
male proceeded to drive her from St. Cloud into the City of Sartell. While
enroute to the Sartell area the victim was sexually assaulted. The victim
eventually was able to get away from the suspect when he stopped the
vehicle in the Sartell area. The victim received no injuries during the
incident.
The vehicle was described as an older larger body style 4 door Crown
Victoria which was either dark blue or black in color. The vehicle had a
loud muffler and the interior had torn seats and garbage throughout.
The suspect was described as a white male approximately 25-30 years of
age, with short reddish or blonde hair. The suspect had a tall and heavy
build, had a deep voice, and was wearing a white t-shirt with blue jeans.
St. Cloud Police:
Missing Person now a Homicide Case
On Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at approximately 08lS hours, St. Cloud Police
stopped Lewis Wilczek's 2004 Ford pick-up, Minnesota license YAS8058 in
North St. Cloud.
The driver identified himself as Lewis James Wilczek. The driver was later
positively identified as Jeremy Jason Hull, DOB 04/08/83, of St. Cloud.
Hull was arrested for False Information to Police and outstanding
warrants. Hull was transported to the Stearns County Jail and remains in
custody on his warrants.
Law Enforcement officials are seeking the public's assistance regarding
any information or contact that any person or business had with Jeremy
Hull, Lewis James Wilczek, or a person identifying themselves as Lewis
James Wilczek since Sunday April 29, 2007, when Wilczek was last seen.
St. Cloud Police:
Aggravated Assault
On 05/06/07 at 0230 hours a 21 year old male was walking home from the
downtown bar area and was assaulted by three to four unknown white male
strangers approximately 22 years of age. The assault occurred near
Division Street and 16th Avenue South.
The males were described as approximately 5'10", thin to medium build. The
victim believes that there were witnesses. It is believed that the
suspects may live in this area.
St. Cloud Police:
Attempted Robbery
On 05/04/07 it approximately 0837 hours an attempted robbery occurred at
the Arby's Restaurant at 3275 1st Street South.
A female employee was taking the bank deposit to the bank. As she
approached her car in the parking lot two b1ack males in their late 20's
approached her and attempted to wrestle the bank deposit away from her.
The perpetrators were scared off by another employee. The suspects left in
a green mid size four door car.
