Crime Stoppers Open Cases
for Week of May 21, 2007
St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary and
Theft
On 05/21/07 at approximately 1120 hours, Officers were dispatched to
Design Electric at 4807 Heatherwood Drive for a theft complaint.
The business reported that sometime between 5/18/07 at 1800 hours and
5/21/07 at 0600 hours, approximately $6,000.00 in copper wiring was stolen
from locked trailers on their property and adjacent property. Entry was
gained to the trailers by cutting padlocks.
St. Cloud Police: Hit and Run
On 05/15/07 at 2033 hours officers were dispatched to a hit and run
involving a motor vehicle and pedestrian that occurred at the intersection
of 141h Street North and 12th Avenue North.
Officers met with the 29 year old victim who stated he was walking
northbound on 12th Avenue North attempting to cross 14th Street North. An
older brown motor vehicle that was driving eastbound on 12th Avenue North
struck the victim as be was crossing the street.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop and was last seen driving
southbound on 12th Avenue North. The victim was transported by ambulance
to the St. Cloud Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Burglary and Theft
On 05/17/07 at approximately 2147 hours officers were dispatched to the
1600 block of 7th Street Southeast, for a burglary complaint.
Upon arrival officers learned that the victim observed a black male, who
he described as being six feet tall with a clean shaven head wearing a
black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white shoes in his apartment. The
victim confronted the male, who then ran from the victim's apartment with
approximate1y $310 in cash belonging to the victim. Officers checked the
area, but were unable to locate the male.
St. Cloud Police: Residential
Burglary and Theft
On 05/18/07 at approximately 0550 hours officers were dispatched to the
400 block of 5th Avenue South reference a burglary.
Upon arrival offices met with the victim who stated that sometime between
2300 on 05/17/07 and 0545 hours on 05/18/07, someone entered his bedroom
through an unlocked window. While in his bedroom his Dell lap top computer
was taken. The victim has no idea who stole his computer, but did state he
observed two black males in the area at approximately 0300 hours who were
acting suspicious.
