for Week of May 28, 2007

St. Cloud Police: Robbery

On 5/31/07 at 0224 hours officers were dispatched to the area of the 400 block of 5th Avenue South for a robbery complaint. The victim, a 21 year old St. Cloud resident, was walking from the downtown area when he was assaulted and robbed by three white male suspects. The victim received minor injuries which did not require medical attention. One suspect was described as a white male, 6’4” to 6’5”, approximately 300 pounds, wearing baggy blue shorts and polo type shirts.

Waite Park Police: Business Burglary and Theft

On 5/22/2007 it was reported to the Waite Park Police Department that someone broke a drive up window and gained entry into the Meeting Grounds located at 139 W Division Street. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the business.

Waite Park Police: Attempted Business Burglary

On 5/22/07 it was reported to the Waite Park Police Department that sometime overnight someone attempted to gain entry into a back door at the Gruber’s Quilt Shop. Entry was not gained, but there was substantial damage done to the door.

Sartell Police: 10 – Case Summaries

Tuesday, May 15

8:00 a.m. Theft, Pine Meadow Elementary. An UNLOCKED black and white Raleigh 21-speed bicycle was stolen from the basketball court area.

Thursday, May 17

8:25 a.m. Vandalism, Hi Vue Drive. Suspect(s) slashed four tires on a vehicle, as well as two tires on a boat trailer.

1:05 p.m. Burglary and theft, Champion Field. Concession stand was broken into and an undetermined amount of property was stolen.

Friday, May 18

7:25 a.m. Theft, 400 block of 3rd Ave N. A Pioneer face plate, an 11-inch yellow and black bat and a garage door opener were stolen from an UNLOCKED vehicle. The garage door opener was located in the back yard of the residence.

7:45 a.m. Theft, 400 block of 8th Ave N. Homeowner reported the theft of a motorcycle helmet, beer and smoking pipes from his garage. A vehicle parked inside the garage was also entered and a Clarion face plate, Sheels gift card and gym bag were stolen. The homeowner reported to officers that he had inadvertently left his overhead garage door open. The gym bag was later found in the roadway.

8:30 a.m. Theft, 600 block of Pine Cone Rd N. An UNLOCKED vehicle was entered and a purse was stolen.

3:00 p.m. Damage to property, 600 block of 3rd Ave N. The door of the football field concession stand was kicked in, breaking the lock. Nothing was reported stolen.

Sunday, May 20

12:20 p.m. Vandalism, 200 block of Frontier Ave. Vehicle was egged while it was parked on the street overnight.

Monday, May 21

10:06 a.m. Burglary and theft, 1500 block of 7th Ave S. The following items were reported stolen from a building under construction: North Star Bazooka, two Top Tech pumps, two Top Tech gooseneck pump attachments, 3” Top Tech angle head, Top Tech angle box, North Star angle box extension handle, Top Tech nail spotter, Dewalt variable speed power drill, and a red/black Milwaukee plug-in radio.

8:39 a.m. Vandalism, 200 block of 8th Ave N. Garage door and van were hit by paintballs.
