Wright County Sheriff: Homicide
Investigation and Vehicle Theft
The Wright
County Sheriff’s Office has requested assistance from Tri-County Crime
Stoppers as they are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a person
of interest in a homicide that occurred in the 200 block of 36th St. SW in
Montrose Minnesota.
The victim was discovered on Saturday, August 4, 2007 and died as a result
of homicidal violence. The sheriff’s office has determined that the
homicide is connected to a burglary which occurred on Wednesday, August 1,
2007 in the 300 block of 45th St. SW in Montrose Minnesota. Several guns
were taken in that burglary which have not been located.
Through investigation the sheriff’s office has determined that the person
of interest and the victim’s vehicle was last seen in Monticello Minnesota
on August 3, 2007, and the person of interest indicated he was attempting
to locate I94 and may be headed to North Dakota. He is believed to be
traveling with an unknown person, possibly female, in the victim’s 2002
blue Jeep Grand Cherokee, MN Lic #HVT377. The person of interest should be
considered armed and dangerous.

St. Cloud Police: 5th Degree
Assault with Minor Injuries
On 08/05/07 at 2246 hours officers were dispatched to the Law Enforcement
Center for an assault complaint. Investigation revealed that a 21 year old
female of St. Cloud had been assaulted on 08/05/07 at approximately 0200
hours while walking across the University Bridge.
The victim sustained minor injuries and had been slapped, grabbed, and had
her shirt torn by the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-to-late twenties,
approximately 6'0", 170-180 pounds with long blonde, matted hair. The
suspect was wearing a dark colored hat that was facing backwards, a light
colored hooded sweatshirt, and dark colored athletic shorts.
Anyone with information regarding this assault is encouraged to call Crime
Stoppers or the St. Cloud Police Department.
St. Cloud Police: Criminal
Sexual Assault
On 08/05/07 at approximately 0615 hours St Cloud Police were dispatched to
the 1000 block 8th Avenue South to investigate a sexual assault complaint.
The 18 year old victim stated she had been passed out when a 19 to 20 year
old suspect sexually assaulted her on a couch in the living room of the
residence. The victim up during the incident and the suspect fled from the
residence. Suspect is only known by his first name at this time and has
not been located.
St. Cloud Police:
Aggravated Assault with Injuries
On 08/05/07 at 0400 hours a male, who is a St, Cloud resident, states he
was assaulted in South Side Park by an unknown number of persons.
In the assault he received two puncture wounds and a cut along with
various bruises and scrapes. No suspect or charges are being pursued at
this time.

St. Cloud Police:
Exposer
On O8/03/07 at 0220 hours Officers were dispatched to the area of 7th
Avenue South and 6th Street for an exposer complaint. The area was
searched and the exposer was not found.
The suspect is described as a white male with a medium build, in his
forties, approximately 5'11", with black hair pulled back into a ponytail
with a bald spot on top. The suspect was wearing maroon bikini bottoms
with a sparkly snowflake embroidered on the back.
The suspect exposed his buttocks and genitals to the victims. It is
believed that the suspect may reside in the apartments near the old 5th
Avenue South Coborn's.
We are asking for the public's assistance in this matter in identifying
the suspect. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the St. Cloud
