Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of September 10, 2007

Sartell Police: 2 - Residential Burglaries, and 1 Theft

On September 11, 2007, the Sartell Police Department responded to two different burglaries where the exterior doors were forced open. The one was an unoccupied residence. The homeowner arrived home to find that her home was ransacked and that a Dell laptop computer was missing.

The second was an occupied residence. The suspect(s) rang the doorbell several times. The home owner, who was already in bed just ignored the ringing. A few minutes later he heard the suspects breaking into his home. He yelled that he was calling the police and the suspect(s) ran off without taking anything.

Sartell Police: 3 - Theft from Vehicles

On September 12th, the Sartell Police Department took 3 reports of theft from vehicles that had been left unlocked overnight. This activity occurred in the 200 block of 5th Avenue.

Sauk rapids police also had 3 thefts from vehicles near the city border with Sartell.

Owners are encouraged to keep their valuables out of sight and their vehicles locked.

Wednesday, September 5

2:00 p.m. Theft. A 1999 wood/metal 6x10 trailer with black railings and a wooden flat bed was reported stolen from a business.

Saturday, September 8

8:39 a.m. Vandalism, 400 block of 10th Street NE. Several mailboxes were pulled out of the ground.

St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary and Theft

At 0802 hours on 9/11/07, the owner of Jennings Decoys, 601 Franklin Avenue N.E. discovered a burglary at his business.

Entry was gained by breaking a window. Unknown amounts of various items were taken from the business.

This burglary is one of several that occurred in and around Franklin Avenue N.E.

St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary and Theft


On 9/9/07 at 0733 hours, the St. Cloud Police Department was notified of a burglary that had occurred at SPS Companies, Inc., at 128 Franklin Avenue N.E.

Sometime overnight, unknown person(s) smashed out the front door, entered the building, and stole an unknown amount of office equipment.

Waite Park Police: Theft


Waite Park Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred outside of Archery Country on Division Street on 9/4/07. The 1999 green GMC was parked outside of Archery Country when someone entered the vehicle and stole a set of golf clubs and a golf bag with a cart.

St. Cloud Police: Assault with Injuries

On 09/08/07 at approximately 2112 hours, officers were dispatched to 1400 block of 9th Avenue South in reference to a fight. The investigation revealed that 21 year old victim from St. Cloud, had been slashed across the face with a serrated knife.

The suspect at this time is only known by an alias of "Nai." The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the St. Cloud Hospital.

St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary and Theft

On 09/07/07 at 0403 hours, officers were dispatched to Revolution, Cycle and Ski, located at 160 29th Avenue South, in reference to an alarm. The suspect gained entrance to the business after breaking a window; however, it is not believed that anything was taken in the burglary. Officers located fingerprints inside the business on the cash registers.
