Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of October 6, 2008
St. Cloud Police: Robbery
On 10/8/08 at 1654 hours, officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of
Division Street West for a robbery complaint.
Officers made contact with two 13-year old males, both residents of St.
Cloud. The males reported they were approached by two juvenile black
males, one wearing a black hoodie and one wearing a white hoodie, one of
which displayed a knife and demanded their bicycles. The victims left the
scene and were not injured and nothing was taken.
St. Cloud Police: Theft
On 10/08/08 at approximately 0134 hours officers were dispatched to the
St. Cloud State University Library, 400 6th Street South for a theft
complaint.
Investigation revealed that a 21-year-old female and 20-year-old male were
studying in the basement of the library, left their bags unattended for a
short period of time, came back and found that the bags were missing. The
bags were later recovered but several items were taken. Items include a
black and gray Hewlett Packard laptop computer and two cellular
telephones.
The incident occurred between 12:25am and 12:45am.
Waite Park Police: Strong
Arm Robbery
On 10-4-08 at approximately 3:30pm a 17 year old juvenile male was
assaulted in Macy's parking lot. The juvenile was walking to his vehicle
when he was confronted by a black male who reached into the victim’s pants
pocket removing his keys and a small amount of cash. The juvenile was then
hit in the face.
Suspect is described as a black male, 6 ft. skinny build, approx. 19 yrs
old, wearing black baggie pants and a blue sweat shirt. There where four
or five other black males with the suspect. Suspect ran to the north and
got into a older red car. Last seen driving east on 3rd St. N.
