Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of May 26, 2008

St. Cloud Police: Burglary

On 5/27/08 at 1135 hours officers were dispatched to 1614 16th Street SE, in the City of St. Cloud for a burglary complaint. The complainant advised while sleeping an unknown person came into his apartment and stole numerous personal items. There was no sign of forced entry.

On 5/22/08 at 1014 hours officer were dispatched to the China Restaurant, 3520 Division Street W, in reference to a burglary. Investigation revealed that forced entry was made through a glass window and $250 was stolen from the till.

On 5/26/08 at approximately 0300 hours officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of 10th Street SE, in the City of St. Cloud, on a burglary complaint. The victim arrived home and observed a male standing in their front door attempting to exit the residence. When the suspect saw the victim, he ran back into the house and the police were called.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hoodie with white letters FB on the front. He is approximately 5’ 5”. At this time nothing appears to be missing from the residence.


Stearns County Sheriff’s Department: Damage to Property

At approx. 1am on 5/26/08, SCSO deputies responded to an alarm at the Lynx Golf Course in Sauk Centre Twp.  Upon arrival officers found forced entry had been made by prying open a window.  Officers checked the building and found it to be clear.  To date, no property has been discovered missing.  The suspects approached the club house on foot.
