Sartell Police: 6 – Case Summaries

Monday, June 2

2:00 p.m. Theft, Northside Park. Assorted candy, Gatorade and pop was stolen from the concession stand.

Tuesday, June 3

8:30 p.m. Criminal damage, Gold’s Gym. Vehicle owner reported that suspect(s) keyed or scratched her vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot.

11:45 p.m. Vandalism, Northside Park. Suspect(s) tipped over a Porta Potty.

Wednesday, June 4

11:23 a.m. Vandalism, Fox Run Park. Suspect(s) wrote on playground equipment with a marker.

12:27 p.m. Theft, Blackberry Ridge Golf Course. Suspect(s) stole a Porta Potty that had been near the 15th tee, located on the southeast side of the golf course. The Porta Potty is green in color and has the word “Nelson’s” written on it.

9:35 p.m. Criminal damage, Dehler Drive at Connecticut Avenue South. The stop sign at that location had been shot with paint balls.

Stearns County Sheriff: Theft of Tools from a Motor Vehicle

The Stearns County Sheriff is investigating the theft of tools from a motor vehicle between 6/10 and 6/13 in the City of St. Martin.  Tools were stolen from rear bed of a 96 Dakota pickup, under a Tonneau cover.

St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary and Theft


On 06/16/08 at approximately 0135 hours the grocery store at 710 33rd Avenue North, was burglarized by unknown suspects. The suspect(s) tripped the alarm and fled the scene.

The suspect(s) gained entry by breaking the glass on the front door. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

Waite Park Police: Bomb Threat

On June 13th, 2008 at approximately 1240 hours officers were sent to the K-Mart Store at 40 2"11 Street South for a bomb threat. An unknown suspect made a call into the K-Mart store indicating that there was a bomb inside the store and that the store should be evacuated. K-Mart staff then called 911.

Upon arrival officers immediately evacuated all customers and employees from inside the store. Other responding agencies assisted in evacuating other area businesses and closing off the parking lot to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

A bomb sniffing dog from Sherburne County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene to assist in the search for explosives. With assistance of the K9, multiple search teams were established to conduct a systematic search of the interior of the building. At approximately 1500 hours after a thorough search the building was cleared. No explosive devices were found.

St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary and Theft

On 06/13/08 at approximately 0028 hours, officers were dispatched to Vukes Gas Station in the 3200 block of Roosevelt Road for an alarm. Upon arrival, officers found forced entry through a window on the north side of the building.

Investigation revealed that unknown suspects had gained entry into the building and took cigarettes from the business.

Waite Park Police Department assisted with a K9 track, which met with negative results.
