Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of June 2, 2008

Stearns County Sheriff: Theft of 2 Water Craft and Trailers

On 6/4/08, SCSO received a report of two personal watercraft and a trailer being stolen from a undeveloped lake lot in Munson Twp.  The personal water craft are both Polaris, one is a 96 a SL780, white hull with purple hood and seat, the other is a 95 SL750 with red hull and seat.  Registration numbers are 11220HL and 1121HL respectively.  The watercrafts were on a white 99 Spartan 2place trailer, registration G63804.  It appeared a vehicle backed up to the trailer and towed it away. 

Police: Residential Burglary and Theft

On 06/03/08 at approximately 0145 hours officers were stopped by a male, resident of St. Cloud, in the 700 block of 14th Street South.

The male advised that his apartment had been burglarized. The victim stated that various electronic merchandize had been stolen from his apartment. The victim also had other miscellaneous items taken from his apartment.


Stearns County Sheriff: Attempted Business Burglary and Damage to Property


At approx. 1am on 5/26/08, SCSO deputies responded to an alarm at the Lynx Golf Course in Sauk Centre Twp.  Upon arrival officers found forced entry had been made by prying open a window.  Officers checked the building and found it to be clear.  To date, no property has been discovered missing.  The suspects approached the club house on foot.  Persons with information are asked to contact Crime Stoppers.

Sartell Police: 7 – Case Summaries

Monday, May 12

5:40 p.m. Vandalism, Northside Park. Vent on top of water shed was ripped apart and the vent cover was bent.

Tuesday, May 13

12:35 a.m. Noise complaint, Hi Vue Drive.

1:35 a.m. Criminal damage, Sartell High School. Suspect(s) wrote on several doors and windows with glass pens. Suspect(s) also wrote on the windows of several vehicles parked in the back of the school.

Thursday, May 15

3:55 p.m. Criminal damage, 1200 block of Independence Court South. Mailbox was damaged.

Friday, May 16

7:16 p.m. Fire (arson), Northside Park. Officer observed a garbage can on fire. Fire department was called to extinguish the fire.

Sunday, May 18

1:04 p.m. Theft, 800 block of 11th Street South. Suspect(s) entered a garage and stole a pack of cigarettes and a set of keys out of a vehicle parked inside.

1:24 p.m. Criminal damage, Coborns Superstore. The driver’s side mirror was broken on two vehicles that were parked in the parking lot.
