Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of June 9, 2008
Sartell Police: 7 – Case Summaries
Friday, May 23
2:30 p.m. Theft, 400 block of 2nd Street North. A black camera case
containing a Canon Rebel XT camera, four filter lenses, bower light and a
256 MB Cruzer minidisk, was inadvertently left outside near a shed. When
the owner went back to retrieve the bag, it was gone.
Saturday, May 24
7:54 p.m. Theft, Northside Park. A black Apple 80 G IPod with white
headphones was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Sunday, May 25
11:11 p.m. Medical. 61-year-old female with rapid heart rate. Officers
administered oxygen and monitored the female until Gold Cross arrived to
transport.
Monday, May 26
7:26 a.m. Criminal damage and tampering with motor vehicle, Sartell High
School. Suspect(s) took the wheels off the graduation giveaway car and
wrote graffiti on the roof and hood of the car.
3:26 p.m. Criminal damage, Michelle Kenric Studio. Vehicle owner reported
that while his vehicle was parked in the back parking lot, suspect(s)
broke two windows and chipped the paint.
5:20 p.m. Theft, 600 block of 7th Street South. Gasoline was taken from a
boat while it was parked in the owner’s driveway. A suspicious late 90’s
black S10 Chevy truck was seen in the area on Friday, May 23rd.
Saturday, May 31
11:26 p.m. Car prowlers, 200 block of 11th Avenue East. Report of two
males walking through apartment parking lot and looking into cars.
Officers checked the cars in the parking lot and found no signs of
entering or tampering.
Stearns County Sheriff: Auto Theft
On 5/25/08, Stearns Co Sheriff received a report of a stolen 2001 silver 4
door Buick LeSabre from CR 146 near Pearl Lake . The car had been stolen
sometime during the night. Keys were not in the car. The car was
recovered on 5/26/08 in the 1900 block of Quarry Road in the City of St.
Cloud . Persons with information are asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
St. Cloud Police: Robbery and Theft
On 06/07/08 at approximately 0003 hours officers were flagged down in
reference to a robbery complaint that happened in the downtown area.
The victim, a 24-year-old male resident of Marshall, Minnesota, said he
was assaulted by four black males one of which may have had a hand gun. A
gun was not seen; however, he believed one of the suspects may have held
one to his head. The suspect stole his wallet and his cell phone after
assaulting him resultil1g in minor injuries.
One suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, 5'7", 150 pounds with
short black hair with a tattoo on his neck, with indiscernible writing.
The second suspect is described as a black male approximately 20 years
old, 5'7", and curly hair with a chubby build.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft
On 06/05/08 officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of West St. Germain
Street for a burglary, which had occurred during the day time while the
homeowner was at work.
It appeared that the back door was forced open, and a small amount of cash
was taken from the residence.
