Sherburne County Sheriff: Suspicious Fire
Sherburne County is investigating a suspicious fire to Lakeview Nursing
Home, an abandoned building on 49th St. near Briggs Lake. The fire
occurred at approximately 0300hrs on 07/17/08.
An older gray pick-up containing stolen property taken from the building
was seen leaving the area approximately 2 weeks prior to the fire.

Benton County Sheriff: Theft of 2 ATVs (Update
7-22-08)
The red Polaris ATV was
recovered in Benton County.
The Benton County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of two ATVs
taken from a cabin on Little Rock Lake. Both ATVs were taken on two
separate occasions between 07-05-08 and 07-16-08. The first stolen ATV is
a red 2006 Polaris Phoenix 200cc. license number 598UD. The second stolen
ATV is a yellow 2006 Polaris Sportsman 400cc, license number 599UD.
Both of these ATVs were taken without the keys. Anyone with information is
asked to contact Tri-County Crime Stoppers or the Benton County Sheriffs
Office.
St. Cloud Police: 2 - Assaults with
Injuries
On 07/18/08 at approximately 0103 hours officers were dispatched to the
Rox, 506 St. Germain Street West, for a fight. Upon arrival officers
learned that two 26-year-old males were assaulted by a black male.
The suspect was described as being a black male, approximately 6'1 ",
approximately 170 pounds, having short black Afro style hair with a white
head band, wearing a white t-shirt with a Red Stripe beer logo on it.
One of the males had received a possible broken nose during the
altercation. The victims sustained non-life threatening injuries. Anyone
