Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of July 7, 2008
St. Cloud Police: Bomb Threat
On 07/09/08 at approximately 1508 hours officers responded to Electrolux,
701 33rd Avenue North, on a reported bomb threat. Electrolux staff had
received a threat from an unknown caller who indicated that there was a
bomb in or around the Electrolux plant.
St. Cloud Fire and Sherburne County K-9 bomb detection dog responded to
assist. The building was searched and no explosive devices were found. To
ensure the safety of all Electrolux employees, management evacuated the
building for approximately one hour. The investigation continues by St.
Cloud Police.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft
On 07/08/08 at 1705 hours officers responded to the 600 block of 13th
Street South for a burglary report. Officers learned that the victim had
left his apartment door unlocked while he went out for dinner. Upon
returning home the victim noticed his desktop computer was missing from
his apartment.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft
On 07/07/08 at approximately 1939 hours, officers were dispatched to the
3300 block of Sherwood Loop for a burglary complaint. Investigation
revealed that unknown suspect(s) had forced entry into the home sometime
between 07/01/08 and 07/07/08, and had taken items from the home. No one
was inside the residence at the time of the burglary.
Waite Park Police: Theft of Vehicle
Waite Park Police Department is investigating a report of the theft of a
2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee that occurred on June 24, 2008. The Jeep is a 4
door, silver in color with MN license plate PD861. The vehicle was taken
from the 2000 blk of Division Street.
Waite Park Police: Exposer
On 7/5/08 at 1010 the Waite Park Police Department received a call of an
exposer in the area. A female reported that she was working the fruit
stand in the Kohl's parking lot when a male approached the stand. The
male's genitals were partially exposed. The male spoke with the female for
a while about purchasing food and then left the area. The male is
described as a white male, approximately 45 years old, grey hair and a
beard, wearing a white T-shirt, very short black shorts, and sunglasses.
The male left the area in a white older car that resembled an old police
car.
St. Cloud Police: Level 3 Predatory Sex

The St. C1oud Police Department and the Minnesota Department of
Corrections will be conducting a Community Notification Meeting on July 9,
2008 at 1800 hours. This meeting will be held to inform the public that a
Level III predatory offender will be moving into the St. Cloud area
effective 7/02/08. He lists his address as 1100 block of 10th Street SE.
The meeting will be held at City Hall in the Council Chambers to notify
the entire community. St. Cloud cable subscribers will be able to view the
meeting on channel 19.
The name of the predatory sex offender is Jerome L. Webb DOB 02/18/1981.
St. Cloud Police: Robbery and Theft
On 07/04/08 at approximately 0253 hours officers with the St. Cloud Police
Department were dispatched to a robbery in the 1700 block of 3rd Street
North.
The victim, a 30 year old St. Cloud resident, reported being approached by
two unknown males from behind. One of the males shoved some sort of object
in the victim's back and demanded a wallet. The suspects then fled
northbound on foot after stealing the wallet and cash.
At this time it is unknown whether the suspects had a weapon.
Stearns County Sheriff: Theft of Canoe
 The Stearns County Sheriff is investigating the theft of canoe from an SJU
student on 6-26-08. Taken was a Galyans woodsman 16 foot canoe green in
color. MN Lic 4238 and St. John `s permit #02071 taken from the shore of
lake Sagatagan . $800 value. Cigarette burn in fiberglass by one of the
seats. Happened within past week.
Stearns County Sheriff: Stolen ATV
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a June 26th report of
a stolen ATV. The ATV was taken just north of the intersection of 83rd Ave
and Co Rd 146. The ATV was chained to a wooden post. Suspects removed
wood post from the ground and took the chain and all. It was chained by a
3/8" chain. It was chained through the nerf bars and front swing arm.
There is no registration or VIN numbers.
The
ATV built from the ground up and has several custom parts. Here is the

St. Cloud Police: Attempted Business Burglary
On 06/23/08 at approximately 0027 hours officers were dispatched 3535 West
St. Germain Street for an alarm. Upon arrival officers discovered that
unknown suspect(s) had attempted to make entry into the rear door of the
business, but were unsuccessful. No suspects were located.
St. Cloud Police: Theft from Vehicles
On 06/20/08 at approximately 0435 hours officers of the St. Cloud Police
Department were dispatched to the 1500 block of East St. Germain Street
for a theft from vehicle complaint,
Officers learned that two vehicles had been rummaged through and several
electronic items had been taken.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft
On 06/19/08 at approximately 1815 hours officers were dispatched to a
burglary call in the 3300 block of 14th Street North. Investigation
revealed that entry was made through a window and numerous items were
taken including an Xbox game system, a Playstation II game system, a
Playstation III game system, and a Dell laptop.
