Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of September 8, 2008
St. Cloud Police: Business
Burglary and Theft
On 09/11/08 the St. Cloud Police Department was notified of a burglary and
damage to property that occurred at Munsinger Garden greenhouses located
at 1515 Riverside Drive Southeast.
The only items that appeared to be missing are gardening tools. There are
no suspects.
Waite Park Police: Theft
On 9-4-08 the Waite Park Police Department received a report of a theft of
two plastic septic tanks. The tanks are described as 500 and 600 gallon
tanks. One is white and one is yellow. The tanks measure 6 feet by 4 feet
and would have been moved on a trailer or pick up. The tanks were stolen
from the 600 block of 28th Avenue S in Waite Park.
St. Cloud Police:
Armed Robbery and Theft (From Week of
September 1, 2008)
On
03/03/08 at approximately 2l49 hours officers were dispatched to the 700
block of 131h Avenue Southeast, in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival
officers met with a 24-year-old victim of St. Cloud, who advised officers
he was robbed at gun Point by two males. After taking the victim's wallet
and cell phone the suspects fled on foot to the east. A replica gun was
recovered' the 800 block of 15111 Avenue Southeast. The case is currently
under investigation. St. Cloud. The Police Department was assisted by the
Benton County Canine Unit.
Update:
Upon completion of the investigation, officers identified two 15 year old
males, both residents of St. Cloud, who were responsible for committing
the armed robbery.
St. Cloud Police: Residential
Burglary and Theft
On 09/05/08 at approximately 1830 hours officers were dispatched to the
100 block of 22nd Avenue North, for a report of a burglary.
Investigation revealed that sometime between the hours of 2300 hours on
09/02/08 and 0630 hours on 09/03/08 an unknown suspect entered the
detached garage and took a Black and Decker drill, a Dewalt circular saw,
and Baja mini-bike. The suspect entered through an unlocked side door.
St. Cloud Police:
Residential Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property and Theft
On 9/04/08 at approximately 0617 hour’s officers responded to the 2500
block of Clearwater Road in reference to a burglary.
Investigation revealed that an unknown person gained entry into an
unlocked detached garage door, vandalized the vehicle inside, and took
several items.
The incident occurred sometime between 09/03/08 at approximately 2045
hours and 09/04/08 at 0617 hours. The victim, a 25 year old female from
St. Cloud, had multiple items stolen from her vehicle. The victim was not
in the garage at the time of incident.
St. Cloud Police:
Assault with Injuries
On 09/06/08 at approximately 0206 hours officers were dispatched to the
700 block of 6th Avenue South for an assault.
Investigation revealed that a 25-year-old male of Moorhead was attending
an outdoor party at which time he was assaulted by an unknown male. During
the assault the victim was struck twice on the right side of his jaw and
knocked to the ground. While the victim was on the ground, the suspect
brandished a pocket knife. The victim ran from the area and called the
police. The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
Officers attempted to locate the suspect with negative results. The
suspect was described as black male approximately 5'9", 160 pounds, had
piercings, and was wearing a black shirt.
St. Cloud Police:
Residential Burglary and Theft
On 09/07/08 at approximately 0106 hours, officers were dispatched to the
800 block of 4th Street South, for a burglary.
Officers met with the 19-year old victim from St. Cloud, who stated
several items had been taken from her bedroom. Items taken from the victim
include a video/nano iPod, iHome with speakers, a Macintosh laptop with
charger, and a flat-screen television. The residence was unoccupied at the
time of the burglary and it is believed the Suspects gained entry through
an unlocked door.
St. Cloud Police:
Residential Burglary and Attempted Theft
On 09/07/08 at approximately 0312 hours, officers were dispatched to the
200 block of 9th Avenue South for a burglary report.
Investigation revealed that two black males wearing white shirts had
entered an occupied residence through an unlocked back door. The tenant of
the residence, an 18-year old St. Cloud resident, observed the two males
run out of the residence through the back door. The victim chased the
suspects and witnessed them fleeing on bicycles, heading south on 9th
Avenue South.
The victim noticed that her purse was missing from inside the residence,
but later found it in the area where the suspects had fled. All items and
cash were accounted for and nothing had been taken.
