Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of January 12, 2009

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft

On 01/14/09 at 2047 hours, officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of 1st Street North for a burglary complaint.

Investigation revealed that between 1500 hours and 1930 hours on 01/14/09, unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole numerous computer items. The homeowner was inside the residence, but was asleep during the burglary.

St. Cloud Police: Theft from Vehicle

On 01/12/08 at 0257 hour’s officers responded to the 3540 West St. Germain Street, for a theft from vehicle report. Officers met with the victim who had his truck broken into.

Several items were stolen from within the victim's truck including several electronics and personal items totaling $1,085. At this time there are no suspects and no one was hurt in the incident.

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary

On 01/12/09 at approximately 1514 hours officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of 11th Avenue South, for a burglary in progress. Officers arrived on scene and cleared the house and did not locate anyone inside of the residence.

Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) had forced entry through a side door. The suspect(s) searched through several dresser and desk drawers and then exited through the screen door by cutting the screen and crawling through it.

Waite Park Police: Hit-and-Run Involving 2 Dogs

On December 26, 2008 officers were called to the 200 block of 13th Avenue N in Waite Park for a report of a Hit and Run Accident involving 2 dogs. When the officer arrived he met with the owner who stated it appeared her dogs, both Huskies, had been hit by a vehicle. One dog, a 10 month old female, was deceased on the side of the road. The other Husky, a 5 year old male, suffered a leg injury.
