St. Cloud Police: Burglary

On 10/13/09 at approximately 1630 hours officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Germain Street East, in reference to a burglary complaint. The victim, a 19 year old St. Cloud resident, reported that an unknown suspect had entered his apartment and stole $350 in cash and coin and also a credit card. The victim stated that he was sleeping in his bed during this incident.

Stearns County Sheriff’s Dept: Theft

On 10/13/09 deputies were dispatched to a report of paddle boat theft from a Fairhaven twp residence that occurred since last weekend. The paddle boat is described as a blue and white “pelican” 4 seater with a homemade rudder on the back. The attached picture is not the actual paddle boat, but a similar one.


St. Cloud Police: Burglary – Occupied Residence

On 10/11/09 at approximately 0432 hours officers were dispatched to the 500 block of 7th Avenue S, St. Cloud, for a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victims who stated that between 2300 hours on 10/10/09 and 0030 hours on 10/11/09 an unknown suspect(s) entered the residence without permission through an unlocked door and ultimately stole numerous items from inside.

Taken from the residence were numerous textbooks, musical equipment, and electronics. The residence was occupied at the time of the burglary.

St. Cloud Police: Burglary

On 10/10/09 at approximately 0340 hours officers were dispatched to 3015 3rd Street N, Roosevelt Elementary, for an alarm. Investigation determined that someone had burglarized the storage shed. Miscellaneous items were taken from the shed totaling $100.

Waite Park Police: Stolen Trailer

On 10/7/2009 at approximately 0846 hours officers were called to 733 Julep Road for a stolen trailer. The trailer was last seen at 10/6/09 at 5:00 pm. The trailer is a heavy duty flatbed car hauler, dual axel. A TEFC (IP55) electric motor is attached to the frame.

St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Assault with Injuries

On 09/27/09 at approximately 0224 hours officers were dispatched to the 600 block of 8th Avenue North, for a medical.

Investigation revealed that the victim, a 51 year old resident of St. Cloud, appeared to have been assaulted. The victim was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance to the St. Cloud Hospital for life threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the assault is asked to contact the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.

Update:
The police are still following any leads in regards to this investigation. The victim remains in serious condition.
Police are looking for any information on an individual, who would have been wearing a dreadlock wig in this area or the downtown area on the evening of Saturday, 09/26/09 to the early morning of Sunday, 09/27/09.

Police are requesting anyone with information on the assault or the individual in a dreadlock wig to call Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301 or St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information relating to the arrest and formal charging of the suspect(s} in this case.

Update:
The police want to thank the public for their assistance in locating the individual in the dreadlock wig. This individual is not a suspect and had stopped to render aid to the victim.
