release St. Cloud Police: Aggravated
Assault with Injuries (From week of September 28,
2009 – Continued request for assistance from authorities)
On 09/27/09 at approximately 0224 hours officers were dispatched to the
600 block of 8th Avenue North, for a medical.
Investigation revealed that the victim, a 51 year old resident of St.
Cloud, appeared to have been assaulted. The victim was transported by Gold
Cross Ambulance to the St. Cloud Hospital for life threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information
regarding the assault is asked to contact the St. Cloud Police Department
at 320-251-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.
Update:
The police are still following any leads in regards to this investigation.
The victim remains in serious condition.
Police are looking for any information on an individual, who would have
been wearing a dreadlock wig in this area or the downtown area on the
evening of Saturday, 09/26/09 to the early morning of Sunday, 09/27/09.
Police are requesting anyone with information on the assault or the
individual in a dreadlock wig to call Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301 or
St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information
relating to the arrest and formal charging of the suspect(s} in this case.
Update:
The police want to thank the public for their assistance in locating the
individual in the dreadlock wig. This individual is not a suspect and had
stopped to render aid to the victim.
Update: 11-18-2009
The victim, age 51, a resident of St. Cloud, is continuing to recover from
the assault.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft
On 11/18/09 officers were dispatched to the 800 block of 15th Avenue
South, with reference to a burglary complaint. Officers learned that
approximately $6,000 worth of antiques was stolen from an attached garage.
The items described being stolen are 1 - blue antique Tiffany lamp,
various Christmas ornaments, hand sewn needlepoint, wine glasses, and an
antique hand painted sink.
There appeared to be no signs of forced entry and no suspect information
was available. Anyone with information concerning this case is advised to
contact Crime Stoppers at 251-1300 or St Cloud Police Department at
251-1200.
St. Cloud Police: Residential
Burglary and Theft
On 11/15/09 at approximately 2038 hours, officers were dispatched to the
1000 block of 16th Avenue South, for a burglary.
Investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) entered a residence through
an unlocked door or window and stole numerous electronic items. No one was
inside the residence at the time of the incident and no one was injured
during the incident.

St. Cloud Fire Department: 3 –
Suspicious Dumpster Fires with Damage
On 11-15-09, St. Cloud firefighters responded to fires at 809 St. Germain
St., 711 St. Germain St. and 611 St. Germain St. The fires occurred
between 4:09-4:27 a.m. The incidents are probably related, a fire official
reported.
One of the fires caused $500 worth of damage. Another fire damaged the
trash bin, but no dollar amount was given. A third fire did not have any
damage.

St. Cloud Police: Hit and Run with Injuries
On 11/14/09 at approximately 1525 hours officers of the St. Cloud Police
Department, St. Cloud Fire Department, and Gold Cross Ambulance, responded
to the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue Southeast in reference to a hit and run
involving a pedestrian.
The 24 year old victim was walking on the sidewalk crossing a parking lot
when she was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Witnesses described
the vehicle as a 4-door maroon Buick driven by a younger white female with
brown hair.
The victim was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross
Ambulance where she is being treated for non life threatening injuries.

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft
On 11/13/09 at approximately 1250 hours, officers were dispatched to the
3400 block of 14th Street North, in reference to a burglary complaint.
Investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) forced their way into the
residence and stole a Sony DVD player and an undisclosed amount of coin.
No one was home at the time of the burglary.

Stearns County Sheriff: 2 – Thefts from Businesses
I had 2 thefts at Z-Marine that were a day apart. The business is located
in Lynden Twp near Clearwater. Taken in the thefts were 11 six gallon gas
tanks full of gas. The second theft 2 work vehicles were broken into.
Taken from the trucks were numerous snap on tools and an in vehicle DVD
player.
Total loss for the business owner hovers around $4,000. Any help you can
give me I'd appreciate it. These thefts occurred on the evenings of 11-10
and 11-11.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary of an occupied dwelling and
Theft
On 11/11/09 at approximately 0342 hour’s officers responded to the 600
block of 9th Avenue South, for a burglary. Investigation revealed that
unknown persons entered the residence and took several electronic items.
Officers met with 19-year-old St. Cloud victim who stated his roommate was
in the residence during the time of the incident. No one was injured
during the incident.
