Benton County Sheriff: 4 – Business Burglaries and Thefts

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's help with 4 business burglaries committed this past weekend. During the overnight hours of Oct 30-31, Mimbach Fleet Supply in Sauk Rapids Township was burglarized. After gaining entry to the business, the suspect(s) stole cash from the business.

During the overnight hours of No v 1-2, Foley Fam1 Supply, Foley Collision Center, and Lavigne's Garage in Foley were burglarized. The burglar(s) forced their way into all three businesses. Once inside, the suspect(s) took cash and tools.

It is believed that all four of these burglaries are connected. Anyone with information concerning these burglaries is asked to call the Benton County Sheriffs Office at 320-968-7201 or Tri-County Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.


Stearns County Sheriff: Theft of Diesel Fuel

The Stearns County Sheriff is investigating the theft of diesel fuel from Hagemeier Excavating, located on 246th Ave, Farming twp. This last month he noticed diesel fuel missing from his semi truck and two dump trucks at his business. On 10-29-09 he reported 60 gallons of diesel fuel missing from the semi truck.

 
St. Cloud Police: Assault with Injuries

On 10/31/09 at approximately 0249 hours officers were dispatched to Holts Hall, 400 3rd Avenue South, in reference to an assault complaint. Upon arrival officers made contact with two male victims, an l8-year-old resident of Burnsville, and an 18-year-old St. Cloud resident.

The males reported they had been assaulted at a house party. Both victims stated that unknown individuals had started a fight with them and they were punched several times to the face before being able to flee from the house.
The victims were unab1e to provide any suspect description. Both victims were transported by police to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft

On 10/29/09 at approximately 2233 hours, officers were dispatched to the 900 block of 8th Avenue North, for a burglary.

Investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked detached garage and stole several items, including, bicycles and tools. One bicycle was recovered in the alley near the residence.

St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary and Attempted Theft

On 10/30/09 at approximately 2236 hours, officers responded to the 2700 block of Clearwater Road, for an audible alarm.

Investigation revealed that a white male approximately 6 feet tall with a light build and wearing dark clothing gained access to a business by breaking the window. Officers determined that the suspect attempted to break into several vending machines but was not successful. The business was unoccupied at the time and no one was injured during the incident.

Officers obtained video surveillance of the suspect and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.
