St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary and Theft
On 03/07/09 at 1630 hours officers of the St. Cloud Police Department were
dispatched to the 3300 block of Division Street West for a theft
Investigation revealed two black male suspects in their teens wearing blue
jeans and black jackets with hoods walked into the business and stole two
laptop computers, one of the computers was a white 13" Apple MacBook
laptop with serial number W8907GB24Rl, valued at $1,000. The second laptop
description and value are unknown at this time.
Anyone having information regarding this theft is asked to contact St.
Cloud Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary, Damage to
Property and Theft
On 03/10/09 at approximately 1012 hours officers were dispatched to Go For
It Gas, located at 3429 3rd Street North, in reference to a burglary
complaint.
Investigation revealed that an unknown person or persons had broken the
glass on the front door to gain access into the gas station. While inside,
the suspect(s) damaged the front glass display case, removing
approximately $500.00 in tobacco paraphernalia.

St. Cloud Police: Fraud Complaint
On 03/09/09 at approximately 1616 hours officers were dispatched to the
500 block of Highway 10 South, for a fraud complaint.
The homeowner reported receiving a check and letter in the mail for
possible employment as a mystery shopper. The homeowner was instructed to
cash the check and wire money back to the company.
Residents of the St, Cloud area should be aware of possible scams related
to mystery shoppers. The public is urged to verify through their banking
institution before withdrawing any cash that the check is not fraudulent.
St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Assaults
On 03/06/09 at approximately 0607 hours officers were dispatched to the
St. Cloud Hospital, for an assault complaint. Upon arrival officers spoke
with two ma1e victims, age, 19 and 20 of St, Cloud, who stated, they were
assaulted in the 1100 block of 6th Avenue South while walking home to
their residence around 0300 hours.
Both victims stated they were approached by two males who began verbally
arguing with them. The two male suspects punched the victims in the face
causing significant injuries to their facial area. Both victims were
treated at the St. Cloud Hospital for their injuries and were later
released.
The suspects involved have not been identified and anyone with further
information is encouraged to call the St. Cloud Police at 320-251-1200 or
Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.
St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Assault
On 03/05/09 at approximately 2300 hours, officers were dispatched to the
3200 block of 14th Street North, for an assault complaint.
Investigation revealed that a 23-year-old female had entered the parking
lot in her vehicle, and as she attempted to exit the vehicle, a white male
approached her.
The white male was described as approximately 5 foot 7 inches with a
medium build and short, blonde hair. It is believed the male was possibly
in his mid to early 30s. The male pointed his finger an a small knife at
the female, and as she attempted to bat the knife away, it caused a small
cut on her arm. The male then struck the female's head against the
steering wheel and left the area. The female victim sustained minor,
non-life-threatening injuries during the assault.

Waite Park Police: Crime Alert
The Waite Park Police Department has seen an increase in the theft of hand
sanitizer from outhouses specifically at construction sites. Waite Park PD
would like to remind the public that hand sanitizer can be dangerous if
ingested and has lead to one recent hospitalization. Please remember that
hand sanitizer does contain alcohol, should be treated as a poison, and
kept out of the reach of children.
If you have any concerns that someone may have ingested hand sanitizer
please contact Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.
The Waite Park Police Department also wants to remind construction workers
to keep the hand sanitizer in outhouses secure. In the fall of 2008Waite
Park took a report of numerous hand sanitizer bags being stolen out of
outhouses at a construction site. Waite Park has confirmed with area
agencies that the same thefts are occurring in their cities as well.
