St. Cloud Police: Theft from Business
On 04/24/09 at 0615 hours officers were dispatched to the Thrifty Motel,
130 14th Avenue Northeast, in reference to a theft.
The owner of the motel stated that a large amount of cash was stolen from
the front lobby area of the motel. It appears a fictitious call for repair
in a room was placed by an unknown caller and during this time period the
suspect stole the cash.
The owner of the motel also stated that a surveillance tape of the front
lobby area was also stolen.
St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Assault with
Injuries
On 04/26/09 at approximately 0210 hours officers were dispatched to the
St. Cloud Hospital, 1406 6th Avenue North for an assault complaint.
Upon arrival officers met with a 25 year old St. Cloud victim who stated
he was assaulted by an unidentified male in the 900 block of 5th Avenue
South. The victim stated he was traveling northbound on 5th Avenue South
when he observed a male and female walking southbound on 5th Avenue South.
The victim yelled out to the female walking down the street at which time
a verbal argument ensued between the male and victim. A physical
confrontation took place between the male and victim resulting in
substantial facial injuries to the victim.
The suspect is only identified as a white male, last seen wearing a green
and white polo shirt with blue jeans and has a large muscular build.

The victim remained at the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of his
injuries.
